In 1967 or so around my father decide to drive the Paas over the Gotthardt. I was 8-or 9. We cant get a ticket for the Railway with vehicel Transport. He drove a Käfer (Beatle)- build 1962- with 40 PS-1,2l. On the Top of the Pass there were snow. So I hit a snowball in the middle of the Tittis of my Mother. Pretty Holiday in Bibona- first Hotel was in Belinzona. I think my father have Balls in his eggs- to drive this route. Adventuere driving! And what happens, you see at 7:58 with an SUV! Thats Modern Cars! His cooling System was broken I think! 🤔 But- fantastik- we drove in cold wheather and after the pass you sweat in the sunshine!☀☀
That has to be the most incredible road I’ve ever seen. Wow! Really beautiful and dramatic scenery. At nearly 7000 feet, this road is twice the height of most of our mountains in Scotland (although we do have some lovely mountain passes too). Thank you for sharing. I’m watching this on tv, on a particularly foul day and I can’t see any of our own mountains, as they’ve vanished into the rain clouds.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Nova Silas Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wonderful, very nice video of one of the oldest great passes 👍😉 I have already driven the pass several times and already published YT videos but with a motorcycle, then the view in the curves is "oblique" ... 😁😉 You got fantastic weather, thank you for taking us with you 🙏🙏🙏
An important thing in this video and adds aesthetic to this trip is the sound of a Tesla car acceleration, it resembles the engine of a jet plane, and I think that no one paid attention to this. My wish is to travel around the world on a Tesla electric car.
Great video! I have a Tesla M3 LR and consider a roadtrip myself this Summer, partially inspired by your videos. Q: Which of your roadtrips have been the most impressive and will you most highly recommend?
How scary is this long tunnel between 11:30 and 13:30, this seemed like a very long tunnel, bicyclists I know hate these tunnels and consider them very dangerous
At 6:25, the driver takes the new new Road, which is a highway. If he had followed the white car to the left, then you get the real alpine road feeling while climbing up the famous „Tremola“ section. The bicyclists as well follow that part. Just google for „Gotthard Tremola“
@@peterschumacher7432 Went there before ( ua-cam.com/video/7huCin676dA/v-deo.html ), and wanted to try the "normal" road this time. But I would advise to drive the Tremola road, there's nobody and I found it much more fun to drive!
I WAS A TOUR GUIDE FOR 14 WEEKS IN 1956 and went over the gottard each week. It was fascinasting to see all the new stretches of road plus the tunnels. My driver was from Martigny, our passengers usually from Yorkshire. Robert HIll. I am too old now to do it again
Good night. Thank you so much for the pass. Enjoyed so liked. Bravo! Greetings from country Azerbaijan

It was the first thing I noticed. I test-drove a Model Y for a weekend. The Tesla vehicles are absolutely amazing. Full stop.
Think of the trouble trying to charge it 😢😢😢😢
@@jameshblackthere is no trouble charging an electric car.
Does this pass only take 30 minutes? I mean we are at this moment thinking about the tunnel or this way.. tunnel took forever in middle of august
