Hey Chaq thanks for detailed instructions. We were able to reimage IOS phone per your instruction, however when connecting to the network the phone is still bricked by Apple needing Apple ID. This is one of the reasons I absolutely dislike everything Apple except owner shared of stock. Hence the whole reimage and wipe failed, the phones UID is still hardcoded and locked out. All pointers are greatly appreciated

Hi I watch a video and I appreciate you I bought two iPhones and both of them has the original owner Pasco on it I connect both phones to iTunes to try to refresh them to get the passcode off of it and it went back to like it’s almost like it’s a brand new phone but then when you do all the process and put in the Wi-Fi it goes to a screen that says phone is locked to owner so now every time I take my country and connect the phone to Wi-Fi it goes to the screen how can I unlock these phones because now I’m sitting here feeling like I spend my money on two phones that I can’t do nothing with

Hello mr @chag..please help, i bought an iphone 7+ from my cousin and she forgot the apple id password, after i have reset the password its still asking to log in with the apple id that was set up with the phone... i can log to icloud with a different device, but i cant set up the phone
The restore procedure for windows 10 is different from the last portion of the restore (which you only showed on mac only on the last part) . Itune didnt prompt to point to the downloaded file. 😩

This works right to the part that asks for your Apple ID. I’m pretty sure we all know how to do a hook up to iTunes. What a waste of time.

Hi, so i tried this but it didn't really work. when i plug the iphone and select the file it downloads normally, but when it's about to finish, my iphone screen just goes black and i hear the disconnecting sound from my windows and a pop-up appears in iTunes saying "The iphone "iphone" could not be restored . An unkown error occurred (4013)." and that what it all says, i don't really know what to do
I got the same thing except it said "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2015)."
Hello chaq, I had a family member pass away and I wanted to reset their phone to use it personally. I do now know their password or iTunes login. Will this work without knowing any of this information?

Yes, this should work. However you’ll need access to your family member’s icloud. If you don’t have his icloud, try resetting by clicking on “forgot icloud password”, and you may easily reset by responding to few common questions or recover through a linked email address which might be logged in one of the person’s computer or any other device, or you may also recover by getting a verification code through sms on his sim card number.
@@Chaq I do not have any of this information. Is their anything else I can do? The phone was given to me by my cousins mother, who is very elderly & not tech savvy at all. She does not know the password, or have access to anything of his.
Try contacting Apple support. They might help you if you explain the situation and prove that you’re a close family member

Itunes forces me to download software separately what do I do? And also even after I've downloaded and it comes to reset it says that phone can't be reset without password.

theres 2 restore screen. Don't click on the pop up "Update or restore". Close that popup and click on Restore iphone while holding the shift button and it will allow you to selet the file :)
Didn't work. During after the ipsw file extraction, the phone automatically disconnects and twice. I tried it twice as well and it did the exact same thing so it's not with the cable. it's like it's being prevented... How do I bypass that? :(
