    Your video reminded me to look up the MM UDA and the rogue situation I see it ended up working out amicably for MM... If you get a stair climber shoot for a Stepmill but if you go bananas a versaclimber is the dual action bike of climbers and you can still use the lower half as a stepper granted it's not the same as a Stepmill. Versaclimbers are like mechanical bull rides oh you plan on staying on* but then your on the floor soon after.

    Really nice gym, makes mine look less impressive lol. I also really envy that lift. I work on a lot of jeeps and go rock crawling, a hobby of mine and my wifes. I just dont have the room or highth for a lift yet.
    We are talking about adding on to the garage and making a full shop though in thr future. Tired of always being on my back 😂😂

      @@MacStrengthCo having a lift is a game changer for sure when it comes to how much you enjoy getting to work on trucks vs having to crawl up under it.

    This issue with the mini split is not necessary the cold temperature, I know they do become less efficient with low temperatures but the real killer is humidity on cold days! I just installed a mini spilt in my garage this past Fall so this was my first winter with one. I live in Massachusetts so it gets cold! I monitor the outdoor temperature and humidity and on days where it was 10 degrees and low humidity the mini split worked better than on some days when it was hovering right around freezing but the humidity was 70+ outside. With the added humidity, the outside condenser coils start to ice up a lot faster. Causing many defrost modes.
    You also have a very large space with high a ceiling making it tough to heat. How BTU’s is the mini spit?

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  Рік тому

      It's a 36k unit. Goes into defrost mode constantly. Everyone I talk to has the same issue but they work great in a smaller well insulated space. Ours just runs constantly due to the open ceilings.

  • @allenheineck2359
    @allenheineck2359 Рік тому +1

    That minisplit would heat fine if it was sized correctly, would probably be too large for AC mode though.

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  Рік тому

      Your right for a small well insulated space they work fine, my issue is the open ceilings isn't a good idea when trying to keep heat down on the floor area. I just refuse to close it in.

  • @Markus-fw4px
    @Markus-fw4px Рік тому +1

    That's insane, so much space, so much stuff. How much of all that do you really use regularely? Due to a lack of space I constantly rearrange and rethink my gym, strictly sorting out what I don't use. Ended up with a rack, a leg press, a functional trainer, 2 bars, ironmaster dumbbells, some accessoires and a treadmill. That's it. I really have to force myself neither to buy new stuff, nor to upgrade...because there is just no rational need for it.

    • @MacStrengthCo
      @MacStrengthCo  Рік тому +1

      We use 90% and tried to only buy stuff we use hence we don't have 10 benches like other reviewers, but I'm not saying it's all needed. I don't fancy with our training nor have expensive equipment. Training is what you put into it not what equipment you have.
