I ran into Ricky out at Milestone MX Park during the 2020 Alpinestars Gear Launch. Ricky was out ripping laps practicing for DAKAR... which he WON! Take a look at this walk-around of his badass 450 Rally Bike.

Maybe one day I'll get to meet him. I have been following him since he joined the Honda team. Him and Gonçalves are my favorites but we know what happen to Gonçalves RIP.
@@badgerjack9588 Yes, so sad re: Gonçalves! I have met Ricky twice now and both times were impressed with what a quiet badass he is... and his on bike skills are pretty dang phenomenal. Like his answer to my top speed question... MOST GUYS... "This m'fing bike goes like 150, but I usually cruise it at about 128 just to keep is sane..." And then there is Ricky, "Ahhh... I don't know and I am kind a scared to find out. 110... 115?" Calm. Cool. Collected. and REAL. Love it!

Brabec is a badass. Super happy to see him win as the first American, and to see Honda break the KTM streak - both right after i bought an AT Adventure Sports... So yeah, i'm now an unabashed fanboy. Your videos are great BTW, i'm sure you REALLY had to be rooting for him knowing you had this video sitting on the shelf, and done before Dakar.
clarksc123 For sure! He is such a great guy - deserved it. As for I... I’ve been riding red for the last 18 months... met Ricky 2x and have been to several Honda launch events. KTM’s still outweigh Honda in my personal garage ... but I’m not biased one way or the other. I love all motorcycles! Thanks for watching!

Why does the exhaust go under the frame?
Good question. I'll ask Ricky. Stay tuned...
Because the fuel tanks are snug in to the frame where the pipe would normally go. Loaded fuel tanks are heavy so they want them as close to center as possible.

Uf I like the cameraman, as soon as the cross started to rev the shiet behind them he moved in close so we could still hear what they were saying.
