Well to consider that Old Spice is not a brand that is recognized for making hair products and for the modest price of $6.99, I think the products are good. They can improve much more with customer feedback, but those companies are not characterized by listening to their consumers, but good. But thank you very much Matt for making this series of videos and it's interesting to see what these brands offer us about it. Hugs!✌🏻
Cheers Axel! Yeah I would be interested to see if they end up reformulating based on some customer feedback. Seems unlikely like you said, but time will tell!
I liked this "budget review" better than most because all the other guys seemed biased either to their own product or expensive products and it seems like they dont give an honest review. You gave credit where credit was due, but also pointed out some flaws, in a way that seemed fair and not biased in any way. 👍
My hair is a completely shiat, but the “paste” it looks pretty good and my hair dont fall down from my head, it looks pretty good, paste is far the best because the hair looks pretty natural, i love it
Hey Matt i know you mostly review hair products and i love it but i was wondering if you could one day look into reviewing crest 3d whitening strips for teeth. It sounds random but its a product ive been curious about and you’re like the only youtube reviewer i trust. You don’t have to if it’s too different from your regular product reviews
They work. Only downside would be you'll have to keep using them every few months to keep the results. But overall they do whiten your teeth. I remember asking my dentist if I could whiten my teeth, he said he could, but that regular crest white stripes worked just as well and are much cheaper. Because all he'd do would be to use a more concentrated formula over multiple sessions. So I'd be better off just getting white strips.
To be fair, when you have "gifted" hair like yours, it'll look good regardless. Try the products on a 50'ish year old man with thinning hair. 😄 And yes, your hair looks dope!! I'm about to go/try Blue (by manic panic).
I've actually been experimenting with that and using a combination of that with other techniques! Once I get it to a point that I like I'll likely do a vid on it.
They recently changed the container that holds the product and it's .44 OZ smaller than the one in the video. I've always used the fiber wax and the new one they put out now includes beeswax? I noticed that the hold isn't as strong as the old one
Any advice in using putty? I have thin hair it helps to bulk it and i use shampoo designed to add some volume but no matter how little or more I use it seems that one side of my hair never has enough strength at the roots to keep up and flowing. It always sinks and i get right down to the roots. If I use too much it obviously just looks wet in the end. If I do it on damp/towel dry hair it seems to just dryoff. I use Vo5 rework putty it's 4/5 on hold. Love the video man :)
Liked so much this video! I literally started using these products like a month ago and my reaction was just like yours lmao Btw I like so much your hair color, I would like to try it!
I like this video better videos of reviewers of this they just put it on and did the review of how it's been in like 10 minutes I like how you did the whole baby that's more informational
If you are going through budget products you should try the Cremo brand. My favorite is the texture paste. Retails for around $10 and can be found at walmart.
Yesterday I bought the Putty for one of my friends cause its chealp lol, it is really soft so I knew that thing wont provide the highest hold for someone with thick hair like me, but his hair is fine as fuck so I think he'll be alright I guess
Why does every youtuber that review old spice products have a thumbnail of their face being disappointed? As if they were promised 8 inches but only got 3?
Compared to $25+ salon grade products, $8 is pretty cheap. But either way, these products are trash anyway so your money would be better spent elsewhere lol
Love that balance between being professional and having humor haha
Thanks! That's exactly what I'm going for haha

TDM Style wow I was not expecting you to see this! I might also add that I love the little bits of humor between the seriousness!
You don’t need expensive it’s silly and wasteful if you don’t use it
Your video was helpful. I now use Old Spice Pomade on the sides of my head which I believe was what Elvis did in 1950s hair style.
My hair is a completely shiat, but the “paste” it looks pretty good and my hair dont fall down from my head, it looks pretty good, paste is far the best because the hair looks pretty natural, i love it
Would you do a Redken Brews review? Am curious to see your thoughts, as they have a lot of options. Thanks.
“Plastic feels very cheap” wow 😂 that never came to mind but you know
They changed the packaging
7:23 “too fuck-boyish” 😂
xD
I just bught the paste one yesterday and oh man.. Thats good stuff
Great video, I’m loving the budget product reviews, and as always your hair is on point!
Thanks so much!

Hey I don’t mind branching out! My teeth could use a little whitening anyway 😂

Damn bro you got some nice hair. Purple looks good on you.
Thanks so much!
Yo Matt you should try the flat wrapping thing that Blumaan was talking about. It seems really interesting I’d love to see it be done on your hair
I've actually been experimenting with that and using a combination of that with other techniques! Once I get it to a point that I like I'll likely do a vid on it.
paul merida yea yea I know I just said Blumaan was talkin about it
This is the content I look for 😤😤
💪🏻💪🏻
I've used the wax and the putty and they're both really nice for the price.
Hey which do u reckon is best for medium length messy/ wavy loo
I have the paste
They recently changed the container that holds the product and it's .44 OZ smaller than the one in the video. I've always used the fiber wax and the new one they put out now includes beeswax? I noticed that the hold isn't as strong as the old one
Please tell me who makes that awesome button up shirt?

I bought the paste and it's holding just fine.
Any plans on reviewing the new Blumaan hair oil? Would be curious to see your thoughts on it vs the 25 spray
Definitely been considering it. Perhaps next paycheck haha
What's the best smelling matte paste or fiber wax?or what companies do you think has the best smelling hair stuff for.men
You should do the equate ones from walmart
Liked so much this video!
I literally started using these products like a month ago and my reaction was just like yours lmao
Btw I like so much your hair color, I would like to try it!
Thanks so much Andy!
My experience with oldspice products was one of the motivators to try higher end products haha. Didn't work for me at all.
Bro your hair is super nice 👍
Thank you kindly.
I love these longer videos
Thanks! I was hoping it wouldn't be too drawn out haha
what do you use as a prestyler?
I always use some kind of smoothing/defrizz type of prestyler. For this particular video I used 25 spray before blow drying for each product.
Another top notch video😃!
Try to review the odouds line if possible...keep up the good work🤘
Thanks! Definitely looking into Odouds stuff for some future vids!
Waterpumps for the win
is the putty or paste better
Great video these are common products good comparison
my man, have u used the reformulated third n co txt. clay? got any thoughts on that?
I haven’t yet but I will definitely be getting some soon! Been in chats with the brewer for a bit.
@@TDMStyle alrighty!
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!
Thank you so much!
Haha I always check my products before I buy them to see if anyone touched them beforehand
The scent gets strong when you put it in your hair
You should test Gatsby moving rubber collection
Definitely on my to-do list!
How does your hair not fall down towards your face before you add the product😭 i wish mine did that
It would if I leaned forward haha
Do review on tigi bed head manipulator Matt wax
Have you tried the styling cream?
I have not.
I heard it’s good but it doesn’t have a crazy hold
It works really good

Def on my to-do list for this series!
The fiber wax is by far the best product I have used from the old spice line. The old spice putty and paste I was not impressed.
Yeah I think performance-wise the fiber was definitely the strongest of the lot.
Hey which do u reckon is the for mid length wavy messy loo
Love our hair keep up the good work 🙌🙌🏻
Thanks!
Trim your pits. 😁
It feels like slime. 😆
You should have used the unruly one on your natural hair. 🤣
Haha yeah the unruly one actually probably would work nicely on my natural curls tbh.
Yesterday I bought the Putty for one of my friends cause its chealp lol, it is really soft so I knew that thing wont provide the highest hold for someone with thick hair like me, but his hair is fine as fuck so I think he'll be alright I guess
I have a question does this cause hair loss
No
4:11 is that a Gordon Ramsay reference???
Sure is! He's one of my heroes lol
Love 💘
Cheers Alberto!
@@TDMStyle Cheers love
SO FUNNYYYY 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭
How do you only have 68 likes

DEFINITELY A SUBSCRIBE FOR ME! Amazing video and I love your humor😂
Thanks so much! I appreciate the support!
Cheap plastic packaging? What were you expecting? Sterling silver?
Clearly
@@TDMStyle By the way, your hair is perfect. I wish I had a head of hair like that.
Well thank you kindly!
Have u tried axe hair products there gross u should try it
Ye I did another Budget Stuff episode on them. They were awful lol
I love that it doesn't smell a lot I don't like that high smell stuff
Yeah Axe smells too strong
Why does every youtuber that review old spice products have a thumbnail of their face being disappointed? As if they were promised 8 inches but only got 3?
immaculate.etalucammi
conception.niotpecnoc
Packaging looks better than Blumaan 😁😁
ThatsTheBadger I like old spice but I wouldn’t go that far
Jesus fuck, why is a 3 minute video 19 minutes long?
Probably because it’s not actually a 3 minute video.
"Budget" !!? Lmao 8 bucks for a lil small canister, ide rather look homeless
Compared to $25+ salon grade products, $8 is pretty cheap. But either way, these products are trash anyway so your money would be better spent elsewhere lol
Add more or don't feel yucky man
It
Yes it does lol. The more you add, the more saturated and oily your hair will feel.
@@TDMStyle it doesn't do that to me everyone has different hair man
@@TDMStyle sorry for you
For someone with purple/pink hair , you sure do complain about everything hahaha
Your comment literally makes no sense, but okay 👌🏻
Ur nit picking and ppl love those scents
I wouldn't be a very useful product reviewer if I didn't nitpick. And sure, maybe some people do love those scents, but I'm not one of them.
BAD PRODUCT
