Roche caused his own downfall, by submitting himself to Hojo, triggering his degredation
He really didn’t think about it. Everything that goes in Hojo comes out screwed up in someway. Evidence:
Sephiroth having no idea about the truth of his birth
The failed Sephiroth clones
Weiss killing his brother (Nero deserved better 😭)
Lucrecia
Ifalna’s death
Aerith being traumatised
Zack being hunted till death in the original game
Cloud’s seizures
There is probably more but I can’t remember
He most likely thought he was just gonna become like cloud
I don't think the experiments triggered his degradation, but rather Roche knew he was degrading. He submitted himself to the experiments because he wanted that one last fight with Cloud.
Sephiroth’s really using them JENOVA cells on Cloud
Spoilers, Cloud is also "numbered" like those hooded guy, only he had concious. That's why Seph can control him
Technically Barret was the one that gave the black materia to Sephiroth this time

There is one thing which comes to mind with Vincent.
In the original, Lucrecia put the Protomateria into Vincent’s chest to allow him to control Chaos, leading to the events of DOC. We know Deepground exists in the remake timeline via Yuffie so then why does Vincent seemingly lose control in that scene? It’s show how rapid and frequent Chaos’ transformations can be when Vincent isn’t in possession of the materia and the Protomateria should be a sure fire way to keep control. So in conclusion, where is the Protomateria in remake timeline?

@@TheRealTakoOrder I doubt DOC will get a remaster. The sales didn’t do so well. And The gameplay was kind of clunky.
Hojo is truly the greatest P.O.S in final fantasy 7
He's so detestable in this game, like he was awful before but he's really outdone himself here! Absolutely love him, haha.
I can't wait to fight him and rip him to nano shreds in part 3. I remember that fight being a pain, but it'll be worth it to tear him a new one.

I'm so confused. Is Sephiroth...NOT Jenova in most of this game, like in the original? I feel like people forget that from the original for some reason. Sephiroth wasn't in most of the game before he got awoken, and even then he was stuck in the crater after that haha.
Being an old gamer I always think that Sephiroth appears too much like a stalker in Remake and Rebirth

It's Sephiroth using Jenova. Even in the original. Jenova was just mostly using Sephiroth's likeness. Think of it as a Jenovaroth. but the real Seph was rebuilding himself and his spirit was going against the flow of the lifestream.
In this new series it's easier. If its in the physical world it's Jenova looking like Sephiroth. If it's in the lifestream or only Cloud can see him, then that's the real Sephiroth using the Jenova cells.
Ah…If only I could see Cloud transform into a Super Saiyan and Super Sonic like form…It would be so beautiful. I fantasize about it all the time.
Well at least Vincent doesn't have those giant shoes anymore.

Can sombody explain why Vincent changed into the minotaur transformation I always thought Vincent’s only transformation was chaos from dirge or Cerberus I’m kinda a ff noob and started not to long ago
He can transform to 4 different beasts depending on his limit break level. Chaos is for limit level 4, the strongest one. The one in this video is Galian beast, it's for limit level 1, the weakest.
He has 4 different transformations. One is the beast, one is Frankenstein I believe, one is the one dude from nightmare on elm Street, and the last is chaos the demon thing.
Yeaah boii they giving roche his own role line to shine and specially becomes a final fantasy famous character newly added to the roster..Roche is deff worth building making equally as fascinating as cloud serious man Roche is unique .. please someone give this character a shine don't make him a pseudo character ..add him simply makes a game longer and worth more the money

Have you even played the OG game? that 'is' an old game. This is Square Enix and this is how they do things. You don't have to like it, but don't accuse it of being a bad game just because it doesn't perfectly match your taste.
