When the RV goes swaying, were washing. LOL. It was really good to finally see this washer in action. I couldn't believe how fast that thing got going in the end with the spin cycle! That looked like the speed of an engine shaft going 2000 RPM's! 😳 My home top load washer, I doubt it spins that fast in the spin cycle. Yours sounded like a quiet jet engine getting ready for take off. Strap your seat belts folks, this is about to be a wild ride. 😁
Huh... Not to sound like a broken record but I told you that 5th wheel living is great for this reason. LOL!!! Great video. We have the same brand combo unit and it works great. I will say that you can't overload it and expect things to dry well. You have to follow the directions (yes I read them). If you load the right amount it will work great. Thanks for sharing, Pat
I've own several Motorhomes with washers and dryers and have never had a problem out of them.. Just do general cleaning of the lint trap on the dryer and keep the soap dish clear on the washer and it should last a long time. Enjoy the addition.. It's a worth wild investment.. It also adds value and is a good selling point for your rig when it comes time to sell. Good Luck
Hey Mike I would replace your washing machine hoses. I use my washing machine for the third time and they finally popped on me. I went to stainless steel. Haven't had an issue yet good luck. Love your videos
Dryer forwards and reverses because it’s auto balancing the load as clothes are heavier when wet. So the smaller drum size will prevent less wrinkled clothing. And give a more even drying. 👍
I have the direct vent combo model when I lived in a small apartment for almost 8 years and another 10 in my current home. Never has any major issues with it besides normal preventible maintenance, but the biggest nuance I found with it is that you can wash more than you can dry. Separate units are a little bit better if you have the space. I just weigh the amount of clothes to the maximum allowable, load it, set it, and forget it. When I decide to go RV'ing full time, that unit will be conveying with me...
We will definitely be getting a washer & Dryer ,just don't trust the all in one's. It's a great idea. Doesn't matter how long it takes , it's the convenience.
Washers just draw cold water and have a heating element. What should be the connection with your water heater as mentioned? Personally I would opt for a combo in such a small 5th wheel. You also have special rubbermats that would dampen vibrations considerably!
I know there some washers that heat with a element however that's not the case with ours nor the one that we had at home. Our home model had an extra heating element for a sanitize mode that would take the already introduced hot water and heat it to a much higher temperature. Now, getting back to this RV washer, it has separate cold and hot hose connections. Numerous people have complained that you can wash more then you can dry with a combo unit. Meaning the amount of clothes that you put in can definitely get washed but the dryer is not very efficient and when a large load is introduced into the combo unit some of the clothes do not dry all the way. Also on a combo unit the other complaint is the overall amount of time to do the laundry usually it's slightly longer due to the fact of a very small amount of water still remaining after the spin cycle so, when the combo unit goes into dryer mode it now has the increased task of not only drying the wet clothes but also the remainder of the water that is left behind that did not get pumped out during the spin cycle. The rubber mat would probably be almost impossible to use as the rubber feet that are on the bottom of the washer are just like the units that are used in a house however a house does not get towed and go bouncing down the road so the feet on an RV Appliance is secured to the floor with brackets to keep it from moving during transport. So if it was mounted to a rubber mat the mat would just tear away or it would have to be made with such solid rubber that it would transfer the same amount of vibration.
True combos have many inconveniences and for me the main one is that they usually dry less than they wash so the one stop idea fails if your wash is too big... Anyhow I wouldn't miss out either on the opportunity to wash in the RV with my own equipment. A small step for man, a huge step for the RVer!
I have been a disciple of you guys for several years now however I guess I missed the video and or livestream on warranties, sorry, if you can tell me how far back it was if at all possible I’ll watch it. As always thanks for everything.
@@Rvdaydream Thank you for the info, very informative. I have the same model and when I inquired they said a side by side would not fit, obviously they are wrong. I will be sharing with them.
Hey guys here in MaryvilleTn picking up new 2022 cougar , what’s your opinion on all of these warranties they are trying to get me to buy , please give me your opinion, camper 1 year on everything to start with ??
We've covered warranty stuff on previous videos and livestreams... In Short. Skip it and either fix it yourself or get a Mobile mechanic to do it on your own dime.... The hassle, and wait time is not worth it...
$7 a month extra? That is well worth it. Not really sure how would they actually know if you're using your washer or your dryer? The only way I would know if Heidi's doing laundry is if I was in the unit or up on it real close I hope that's not what the campground Park managers are doing. I've only seen one Campground in all of our travels that they actually indicated something about washer and dryer use. So I'm not sure how prevalent it really is.
@@Rvdaydream as far as I can tell the manager just asks you at check in if you have laundry appliances, air conditioning or space heaters if they charge extra.
Lmao funny. You remember the one video where we had all of our pillow in the shower...? Yeah we have too many, maybe we need a craft-o-matic bed heheheh we getting old hahahha
Hello Heidi and Mike Was wondering does the washing machine have a separate water filter Or is it using the house filter and Softener , because I know the water especially here in Florida can change from location to location Just wondering stay safe God-bless.
We like the fan.. it's actually for me (Heidi) mostly.. I actually had some perks from Advance before I retired and cashed them in for this fan.. it works well, and can be moved around if we need some air moved around in the rv... 😁
OMG…I say when y’all trade up again look into a used 747… think of the space…will carry a zillion tons of stuff.. everything…… ride your bike any time around inside…just load up your whole RV and truck and bring it along .. no more Walmart at night, they got these giant cement areas in every city you can land at and the the personnel on the ground does all the maintenance for ya. Restraunts, bars , hotels all waiting .Yep , a good condition Boeing is what y’all need next… P.S….love the W/D…if only I had room…
A lot of the complaining is about the all in one units. I guess you could say that in general the quality of most newer residential appliances is not that great and you can find complaints about nearly anything.
Yeah we had that problem whenever we were looking to replace our deep freezer down in the basement because of a problem with a thermal heat switch which I ended up fixing the units that we were looking at that were brand new were horrible compared to what we had since 1972 in our basement.

Excellent showing spin cycle and beginning load balance
15:14 it untangles them and makes them crease free
Thanks for the great review !! We made our decision on this brand and thanks to you we should be purchasing a set soon !!! Thanks so much !!
Awesome, I never once regretted the purchase. Maybe Mike did because of the weight lol.. They workwd flawless 😁

Thanks for the FYI 😁

Would like to have seen where the dryer vented out to.
It is vented out to the drivers side.. A vent just like your home..

What kind of tower is that by the washer?
The Fan?
Some campgrounds would charge you way more than $7 extra if you want to use one on a seasonal site without metered electricity.
