This guy is really in touch with what the mouth and tongue should be doing for an effective quack. That makes this video unique in a good way. I’ve been watching a variety of you tube(s) to learn to call. This should be on the top of everyone’s list of “must watch”
I’m a duck commander guy but I have to say you nailed it with this call. Just got the Omen. LOVE IT. If you’re a duck hunter give this one a try. You’ll be glad you did. I prefer staying within a brand so you can master the style. This addition was a great choice and it makes calling a blast.
Great video. I'm really new to calling and all the urging to have fun, take it slow, and enjoy yourself helps me relax. I've got a new call coming today, a single reed (I've got a Hi Ball double reed right now) and I'm super excited.
I'm getting the tone down but I'm really struggling to find any sort of rasp in there. Any ideas to present the air any better? I really like the Omen and I know it's got more potential than I do right now haha
I’m so frustrated, I’ve watched so many videos and doing the cut off with my tongue. My duck call doesn’t even sound remotely similar, the tone coming out of mine is substantially deeper and cartoony. I have no clue what I’m doing wrong
Yardgnome1111 if it’s super raspy you may be grunting more in the call than you think...use more pressurized air but you can still use some voice infliction to keep it at a deeper sound.

I used this video to get my ducks in there house
Is it okay if I add a little bit of a hum or grunt into the call
Im new but the vids i see say that grunting is a bad habit that will limit your ability to expand your duck calling skills later down the road.
whats the range of how expensive these duck calls are
All his calls are 115 unless you get the combo
Quack
Quacks.
What’s the name of the call you are using in this video?!
Thats the CQ2!
JT Calls thanks! Didn’t wanna order the wrong one😂
When I do a quack it is kinda deep and raspy
Yardgnome1111 that’s fine raspy is sometimes good. Raspy is way better than a high pitched kazoo noise .
