Hi Carla, very beautiful cards with excellent quotes/affirmations. I would use these for reflection and inspiration. Having knowledge about Tarot, I could take the card I pulled from that perspective if needed. Overall I find the images calming, engaging and full of hope. Totally in sync with the Star card and you. Thank you for the review. I see that this deck is very gentle in nature and hasn't got the sometimes-harsher card imagery that we see in the RWS deck. Great for younger readers too.

The Animal Guides Tarot is a reprint of the former deck: _Animal Tarot Cards_ that was created in collaboration between Radleigh Valentine & Doreen Virtue. 😉 Literally every image and every word on every card is *exactly* the same as the previous deck. The changes now are that it's only Radleigh's name on the box (obviously, due to Doreen denouncing card decks) and the artwork on the front of the box and back of the cards they have changed it to the Owl/High Priestess but it was the Persian Cat/Queen of Fire (white cat on throne). As well, the cardstock in the new edition is a nice matte finish where the older deck would be that glossy stock that Hay House printed every older deck on. I've been seeing this "new" deck around and it made me pause because I'm like "hey, I've seen these cards before!" LOL 🤣 They are beautiful though and it really is a deck I enjoy working with. I just haven't pulled it out in awhile so this was a nice reminder. Thanks for sharing! xo 🦢

I love animal decks and have quite a few.... I keep eyeing this one 😊 im never sure about all the writing on the cards though as it interferes with my intuition.. very pretty cards though..
