I was really mad that the option didn't destroy both romances, there was no consequence to asking really unless you were banking on Ashley as a romance. Bioware was hardcore rooting for Liara being the standard love interest throughout the series, though. It really shows in ME3.

An actual person got paid in real money to write that line while two other people(male & female Shepard) got paid to say this line.
There's actually a reason in the lore as to why punching ignores enemy shields, it's because shields basically detect things moving at a high enough speed and then activate hence why they block weapon fire but not the butt of a gun.

There's actually a reason in the lore as to why punching ignores enemy shields, it's because shields basically detect things moving at a high enough speed and then activate hence why they block weapon fire but not the butt of a gun.
