Ha, great video Chris, love the passion, the videos and of course your work.
Just some helpful trick to other artist, definitely use a 6H pencil if you're using paper stencils. Also, copying the image (from stencil printer) on to the BROWN paper on the Spirit stencil paper works better. The brown paper is really thin, so I noticed it sticks far better and more flexible than the white paper.
The good news is the older iPad pros are getting cheaper /easier to find used , the 2018 iPad pro 256gb 12.9 inch is what I use and I feel like especially in 2022 it would be a great entry for anyone on a budget
Also iPad was the best thing I ever bought for tattooing better than any new rotary machine

If you wanna buy the new iPad pro 12.9 with an apple pencil and a decent size 256gb to 1tb hard drive your looking at almost $3000 canadian toss an fk irons spectra flux on there and your at a cool 5grand for your main two tattoo tools haha I'm dreading when I gotta upgraded my 2018 iPad but also a little excited
Ouch lol…that’s a kick in the financial balls ha
a big tip for hand stencil makers is you can actually add shading to your stencils try this use a hard pencil Or pen for the lines and also the solid blacks then for all the shadows use a dull pencil crayon and lightly color over the main important mid tones. You get even more depth and information in your stencils this way and are easier to read for iPad users I sometimes use a flat 25% grey over some areas and the pocket Jet does a similar thing
Hey Chris what ipad do you have? Do you have to get the pro?
I have the iPad Pro yes, however to use Procreate or any other apps like that, you dont need to have a pro

Some b******* for real I hate when that happens I have been tattooing 5 years now due to your videos and quite a few other people on UA-cam I've been self-taught I've been around at my entire life actually done it in prison for about 3 years you know got out I was a scratcher then and now I'm professional I do black and gray I'll do anything that walks in the door but I hate that more than anything when someone schedule something or wants the book something and they talk to you about it waste all your time and then end up going to somebody that ain't even got nothing on UA-cam you know what I mean so men kudos do you keep doing what you're doing you're an awesome artist man and sky's the limit brother!!!!!
