Audio Note AX Two Speakers DIY (一水隔天涯)

Sound demo of DIY speakers based on the vintage AX Two manufactured in Denmark decades ago. New tweeters, used woofer with external crossover, silver cable for all wiring, Mundorf aluminium oil capacitors, Jantzen inductors and MOX resistors. Point to point soldering. Result is very satisfying. Crystal clear and open sound. What really amazed me is the sound stage gives me the impression that I am hearing from one single speaker in each left and right cabinet, not two (a tweeter and a woofer). Vintage design proves its value!

Are you driving the AN AX Two with the Leach amps?

In the video, I used DIY FM255 and FM711 to drive the AX Two. This was when I first finished building the speakers. Afterwards, I have been using my DIY Meishu Tonmeister 300B to drive the AX Two. This is now my reference setup for vocal.
