This DAC is surprisingly good, especially with linear power supply. The power adaptor which comes with it is OK but there is audible improvement once I use linear power supply.

I only use coaxial and I haven't tried the optical input. Thanks for your feedback.

hi sir, what other dac do you own? , how is this brzhifi compare to your other dac?
I also have a 9038Q2M board (just bare board, no chassis). Sound quality is OK but nothing like this 4499. I do plan to get a 9038Pro (probably dual chip) or something in that range in 2024.

I think you made a mistake with the price. the cheapest I found was USD318, still very good!
I bought directly in China and shipped to Hong Kong. My total cost including shipping was just under US$200.

Hello! When you turn it on for the first time, do you need to press the Power button or will it turn on by itself?
There is a power press button which I need to press in order to turn on the DAC.

What kind of cables from CD to DAC ? also, what's the white LP ? also, how is the sound comparing B&W vs Chartwell ?
Gotham coaxial cable from CD transport to DAC. The white turntable is Project Debut Carbon Esprit. The B&W speaker is floorstanding and of course much better than Chartwell which is a bookshelf.

Where can I buy this DAC and whats the exact brand name / model. I'm assuming it supports MQA/etc... I would be streaming TIDAL via USB from a mini PC. My KRELL amp also has XLR inputs and outputs.
I bought it on Taobao in China and it is also available on AliExpress. THe brand is BRZHIFI and the model is SU10. Happy shopping!
I was seriously considering this DAC about 2 weeks ago. I ended up ordering the Opoint DA50 unit it was around same cost but had Balanced XLR plugs which I was wanting. I’ve been happy but wondered how these 2 products would compare. Any idea if the chip is real or a clone?
DA50 looks pretty much the same as the SU10 but with balance output. No idea if the chip is real or a clone while the sound quality is very good. At this price I have no complaint. Did you use linear power supply or just ordinary power adaptor?
I do not believe I have a 12v linear to use. I will have to source one. Appears all my stuff is switching based.
In my case, the linear power supply makes audible difference. Definitely worth it.@@camaross12
