Vintage Audio Note AX Two Speakers (Made in Denmark)

This is a pair of vintage AX Two speakers hand made in Denmark (maybe 30 years ago) in prestine condition.
I spotted this pair of speakers laying on the floor in my friend's place when I returned his Chartwell LS1 speakers after upgrading. We hooked it up to his SP10 and No. 23 but they sounded horrible. Lack of anything and the sound was just thin (actually I suspect something was not right with his system). I realized this was Audio Note product and decided to bring them to my place to check it out.
I first connect it to my DIY Goldmund 27 with DIY FM211 to drive B&W floor standing speakers and they sounded beautifully. They were astonishing considering they had not been used for decades. Vocal was superb! My goodness, what have I found?
Then I connected it to my DIY Meishu Tonmeister 300B amplifier which brought me to another world. A world of music. I started to understand why Audio Note produced their own speakers. This AX Two is a perfect match with low power tube amplifier. At 9 o'clock volume, they filled my listening area with musicality and sweetness that cannot be found in my solid state setup.
I will be upgrading the crossover (caps are old and of average quality) and trying different placements for best results. The speakers are placed too high in this video. At the moment, it seems the ideal height is 16-24 inches from the floor. Stay tuned.
