@@dperfect28 Nah he right. I would give them a slight edge. Maybe lol...2000 that is. We got right back at em in 01. And recently juke been destroying them.
I marched in the 100 that year. I have to say that was the most exciting game. It was so intense. Everyone was out for blood, but at the same time it was like a huge family reunion.
@@nasaint2982I am from LA and SU through and through!! My sister was a graduate student at FAMU in 2005 during Katrina. My family evacuated N.O. and drove to Tallahassee and the FAMU community and The City of Tallahassee embraced us in a way that I can’t truly express. I will always have love for FAMU and Tallahassee!! Every evening I had the pleasure of watching the 100 practice and for those hours I was able to forget that devastation was at home waiting for me.❤
We (MBC) heard this in Mumford this following year, just the intro.. To this day that’s the loudest shit I’ve ever heard blown at us… They blew this on us while we were in the hole…
I’m glad to say that I was in that number. 💪🏾 ‘97
I marched at FAMU the following year, and this Southern definitely left us wounded and wanting revenge

Man I was blessed to hear that sound in person. Needless to say I ascended. I felt like I was flying high. Human Jukebox took me there at every turn.
Listening to this band over the years playing this song, I would say this group played it the best.
Easily
This was the first year we played it, the originators. I did realize the magnitude of this song, as it was my first year in the band.

@@BigHappyASU in my opinion=IMO
@@travisjohnson057 oh, LOL. I would say that 1st place is a toss up between 1995 & 1996, then 2nd place goes to 1989 or 2017!
DJ Big Happy 17? 17 would see it bad against a few recent bands.
Seems like the new Southern havent sounded like this since like 2002 03...
