AHAM BRAHMASMI meaning I'm universe or I'm the creator. It is a way to identify yourself in the most extreme way possible( like not with your name or nationality). This is the first line students use to learn in our Gurukul system ( old Indian schools).
Aham Brahmasmi We are the spark of the ETERNAL COSMIC CINCIOUSNESS. .I am what I am searching for.. (.self realization.)...one gets liberated the time one understands the true nature of oneself....freeing oneself from the cycle of life and death...WE MERGE INTO THE ETERNAL CONCIOUSNESS.
There Is no other than I , I Am Brahma but even Brahma is a name & I am beyond enumeration beyond concept beyond speech beyond everything when I am with my self I am what I am.
Brahman, not Brahma. One is a god and the other is undefinable, unknowable, and unreachable by thought. Tat tvam asi. Brahma is also Brahman when you get down to it but Brahman is not brahma.
I born to Christian faith, have a deep respect for Brahma. The one that should be most praised has at most, 15 temples dedicated to himz worldwide. Praise the Hindu lord of the universe.
You should not remember your moments during this mantra. There is no I .There is no self. There is nothing such as my life coz i do not exist . There is only the bhraham .
Aham brahmasmi I am brahma I and everything that exist is one, there is no duality. All duality that we see are simply Maya(illusion) I and that ultimate soul are same. I am not part of that ultimate soul but i am that soul itself. Sarvam khalvidam brahmasmi Everything is brahma itself
Body is prakriti (mixture of 5 elements) and the soul is the consciousness (paramatma) Prakriti and purush both created the universe and are the one halves of each other as ardhanarishvara. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Durga, Kali, laxmi (srishti, sthiti, pralay) are the name of the qualities of the arddhanarishvara. Aham Brahmasmi, Om Shivoham🕉️
Love those crimson vocals on a deep raag background. Happened I was just searching for a 15 min. mantra that afternoon. Seems you caught my wish :) Thank you so much for sharing genuine spirituality. Namaste!
I am the vast awareness gently receiving experience through many senses. However all these senses also appears, happens and vanishes in me, pure awareness. I cannot be pointed, as I am everywhere. Paulo appeared, happens and will vanish in me. I am aware of light, and I am also aware of the absence of light. I am the eternal, unchanging space where all can change and evolve. Awareness is the light, and the experience is its own brilliance. Embrace all that comes to you, facing that brilliance as it comes. That which needs to come to you cannot be you.
@@kevinv2767 Well, yeah, I’ve chosen these words from my heart, so it kinda is “my” own experience. Now, when I think about “my own experience” I wonder... Think with me: the eye is not the miracle, vision is not a miracle, but the miracle is that which can notice an eye, a vision and even its absence. There is awareness for each and all things, so how can I own such vast experience? I can only follow and sometimes write about it.
Speech is futile, Silence is the speach of Reality. When one is aware he negates everything duality so there is no one to talk to if there is only me then whom should I talk with so it's better be silent just experience the knowing and happening
@@Nomad_Wanderer it is the same futile thing you just did by commenting. You see, there is nothing to happen in this world to change what silence IS. The pollen doesn’t needs the air to grow, but the pollinators needs the air, so they can put the pollen into motion. All is this one silence, you’re so right!
The main and more pratical meaning of this important and sacred mantra, "Aham Brahman asmi" from the perennial Indian Tradition is: "I am united to the Divine Being", or "I am one with the Divine Being" and it is a initiatic aspiration, which coupled with a powerful will will in the meditative pratice become an experience, a very higher station of the Jivatman, that each one of us is...
Aham Brahmasmi means, I am divine. When you say 'Aham Brahmasmi', you acknowledge that you are the world, you are everything. And simultaneously you also imply that there is actually no entity as you.
Many are busy telling their limited knowledge here but very very few are interested in trying and sharing their experience after chanting the mantra...which might inspire others...
“In Sanskrit, the concept of "I am consciousness" can be expressed as "Aham Brahmaasmi" (अहं ब्रह्मास्मि). This phrase is derived from the Upanishads, ancient Hindu scriptures that explore the nature of ultimate reality. "Aham" means "I" or "self," and "Brahmaasmi" means "am Brahma" or "am the ultimate reality" (Brahman). The phrase "Aham Brahmaasmi" signifies the recognition and realization that the individual self (the "I") is inherently connected to and one with the supreme consciousness or universal reality (Brahman). It reflects the understanding that the true nature of the self is not limited to the body, mind, or ego, but is an eternal and unchanging essence that is divine and interconnected with all of existence. By affirming "Aham Brahmaasmi," one acknowledges the inherent divinity within oneself and recognizes the unity and oneness that underlies all of creation. It is a powerful affirmation of the identity of the individual self with the universal consciousness, emphasizing the spiritual truth that we are not separate entities but interconnected aspects of the same divine essence. This expression highlights the profound spiritual understanding that lies at the core of Hindu philosophy, inviting individuals to realize their true nature as pure consciousness and to live in alignment with this realization.” -ChatGPT

It literally means "I am Brahma" there is no separation. No 'united to' or 'one with'. Simply, 'I am..'.
