Sideshow presents the Superman: Call to Action Premium Format™ Figure, ready to leap into your collection in a single bound.
The Superman: Call to Action Premium Format™ Figure measures 19.5” tall as Clark Kent sheds his civilian disguise to become Superman, running through a Metropolis alley as he answers his city’s cry for help. This inspiring and dynamic DC Comics collectible captures both sides of the Kryptonian’s truly heroic self, as both a mild-mannered reporter and the Man of Steel.

The symbol of the House of El on his chest serves as a beacon of hope to those in need of help as Kal-El fights for truth, justice, and the American way. The Superman: Call to Action Premium Format™ Figure also includes both a Clark Kent portrait with his hat and glasses as well as a Superman portrait with his iconic kiss curl and a determined look on his face.
This looks like a job for the Superman: Call to Action Premium Format™ Figure! Bring home some heroic help to your DC Comics collection today.

I'm not a big fan of comics, really. but this is awesome! I would've honestly sat through the whole process!
You probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Maddox Douglas instablaster =)
It's been said, these behind the scenes videos are your most interesting. Especially if your interested to buy the statue.
A Kelly can he sell them?
SSG Squidward they already do
@@lacyhollings6612 Unless I've misunderstood something, they definitely do not sell these prototypes but factory made imitations with varying quality.
I don’t want to sound like a dork, but seeing all of these behind the scenes videos justifies the price tags these statues and figures command.
exactly! it totally makes sense the price tags for these statues. The time and dedication to details. love these videos
I'm still wondering how Superman hide his cape in Clark Kent suit without looking like hunchback of notre dame
shit he just had to keister that hoe i guess🤷🏽♂️😂
He Put His Cape Underneath His Pants.
Maybe he has it in a briefcase?
He hides it in his super hole
Space age polymer fabric
A part of me genuinely expected him to use a miniature sewing machine, cause I'm dumb that way
Lol. As small as some of the fabric elements are on some statues it's easy to picture a tiny machine making them.
Amazing. My appreciation for this piece of art has actually increased.
I grew up with a mom that is a seamstress. Watching this video took me back to my childhood - and it's incredibly cool. These behind the scenes videos are my favorites. Keep them coming!
That was so impressive! He makes pattern-making look so effortless, and I struggle with it on dolls that actually move. Also, can someone get this man a Clover mini iron? I was shocked he was trying to press those tiny seams with a full-sized iron.
I genuinely misheard you and thought you said “ hi my name is Chris Hanson” and I thought
“ damn this mans does it all”
I misheard and thought he said Jim Henson for a sec, there
absolutely loving all of these videos that you guys keep cranking out. These types of videos are amazing to watch.
That's crazy...the most incredible "Superman" figure pose, I've seen ❗👍✌️
We need more of these behind the scene vids. I’m sure it’s annoying to the artist, but they are so cool. I love seeing how these people make such amazing pieces of art.
Such a super clean cast. Waiting a video of the molding and casting process!
Took the words right outta my mouth
I would also love to see a vid on the casting process . Not likely , not sure if cameras would be allowed in the plant where these are made overseas . Would be better if these were made in America although at a much higher cost ..
@@waynesbutler7834 Of course they do the prototypes in the same place where the paint and sculpt department are, in the US. They've show short clips already. The mass production is in china
@@waynesbutler7834 he 3d orints them himself
These videos are really great. Keep them coming!

I absolutelly love this sewing video, I don't think there's much information about the matter related to this specific industry and I found it highly interesting. Actually learnt Alot! Please, make more of this content!
amazing man!
GREAT Job! AWESOME Content!!
Amazing work!!
i am not understanding something. if you want the clothes to mimic the real thing, then wouldn't you make a normal set of clothes and when they are placed on the body in motion, they will make the correct shapes and wrinkles naturally?
i need someone to explain why i am wrong! please!
Edit: please read Miss Mena's reply below. She explains why the clothes are designed the way they are, very well :)
Regular human Fashion Designer here. My theory would be because the dimensions of "regular" clothes wouldnt actually fit properly because the statue is an exaggeration of actual movement and shape. The drawing and statue is stylized in a way that just wouldnt correlate in reality. So ya if he wants to mimic the drawing and the statue he has to do the mock up off that directly. Heck even mere humans dont fit clothing that well unless we do a similar (albeit far less exaggerated) version of the same thing on a mannequin.
Edit: Oh and I forgot to add that the drawing and statue also reflect outdoor elements at play (I.E running with strong wind force going against the body, etc) that arent actually happening in real life. So again to mold the clothes to resemble that he has to make the pattern off the statue and adjust accordingly. Hope that makes sense
@@ameenahsf thank you so much for that explanation :)
@@garblehose you're welcome!
I can't believe this is even real!😍
More of this kinda videos please
This video actually making me to wanting to starting reading Superman comics for some reason
Please keep making these behind the scenes videos!
That is insane! Now I understand why I do sh**t on my own sculpture
Great work on the clothing Tim!
looks exhausting I love it
Truly an art to take fabric that is cut in such odd shapes and turn it all into a piece of clothing that mimics how the clothing would really look and react on a real person in an action pose. Especially when the final piece of clothing isn't even a full garment and is just a section of it as needed for the statues pose. I'm still wondering how you get the fishnet stockings on Zatanna or Black Canary to form fit so tightly to the shape of their legs? Is it heat shrunk? or are they stitched on the statue itself? or are they flexible and slipped onto the legs from the bottom like they normally would be in real life? I been wondering how they come out so perfectly fitted since I bought both of those PF statues.
Awesome
Thanks!
I hadn't realized that this was an actual thing. Sooooo many craft doors just got opened 😁
Wow absolutely amazing 👌
Tim, you’re amazing!
so cool!!!
Damn that was informative! Thanks!
Wow! Really nice job on this!! 👍👍👍
I like the hat version best.
It's so fun, keep on doing this please
Please post more of these BTS videos! Love them!
Wow!
I thought the measurements are going to be just normal shirt but small but man you went all in
Love it.
This is awesome
Fantastic Work !
Lets be honest
Where does Superman actually store his cape when he's in his civilian clothes
That's great...I've never even thought of that...
In the Silver Age, he had a pouch in the cape to store the Clark Kent clothes. He probably does the reverse too?
It's simple, he pulls it in his underwear, make a sort of cloth ball at the front.
and where does the Optimus Prime's tow go after transforming into a robot?
@@Pixxeria
Hmm,he probably folds it and tucks it underneath his clothes and when he removes his civilian clothes
It unfolds
