Great video on the SPLICE features. I've learned a few new techniques. I have been using SPLICE for about 3 years and an upgrade to the GoPro QUIK app for my ring recovery / treasure hunting videos. I'm trying to take my vids to the next level for a change. Struggling for the last year with creativity with 18 videos to work on from last year. Thank you.
I use Splice for my channel, nothing else. It’s because it’s brilliant and also I am so lazy I like to edit on the sofa or in bed. All my videos are shot on my iPhone because it’s super convenient. My channel is growing super fast and the comments are all the same (that my videos are very inspiring) and never once has anyone commented on the video quality. I do use good quality mics for audio with my videos. My only issue is that UA-cam thinks I have copyright issues with music (you don’t with splice, the licensing is taken care of with your subscription fee) so I feel hamstrung with the music library. How do I import music from UA-cam Studio? And thanks by the way, it’s a very good tutorial.

💥I really wish this was a “full tutorial”. One time I did a fade in intro with a caption (at the beginning of course) but I completely forgot how I did it.
Hi Chris, how about creating a troubleshooting video for splice. Specifically video sound not coming over with the video. The sound is there in my library and disappears in splice. I’ve unmuted clips, still no sound. This happens randomly. I did a video last night and this morning I’m unable. Help please.
Every time I select two video clips that I have recorded off of my GoPro splice turns the second video clip black only hearing the sound. It does it 100% of the time, how do I stop that
Loved it on the iphone. With my new android, it sucks so bad. They don't have apply all so if you need to stitch 20 videos together, and you change the saturation in one video, no option pops up to apply to all other videos and you need do it in manually. That sucks

Hi there, thank you for posting this. I have a question about the caption on Splice. I'm having a hard time with it because it constantly generates captions from older videos. For instance, I will generate a caption for a video I just created, and then it will give me a caption from the previous video. I have contacted Splice customer service, and they can't help me. When a caption does work, it takes up to 10 minutes to generate the caption for a 30-60 sec video. I love the app's features, but the caption issue is killing me. Would you happen to have any suggestions on how to fix it?

I pay for this app, and have been using it a lot for a while now. It used to work great, but now it can't produce anything without blacking out half of the clips. It's completely unusable now. I've tried everything to fix it. They screwed something up in the last update. I have to scrap numerous projects that are on the app because it can't produce them. pretty pissed off.
Yes you can :) The cool thing too is that if you have an iPhone, you can also import your Live Photos as videos as well without having to change any of the options. The app is very solid.
Or this? 16:9: This is the recommended aspect ratio for UA-cam. At 16:9, your videos are widescreen and occupy the entire UA-cam video frame on both desktop and mobile.
This video was vague AF. Unfortunately most people can’t learn by ‘toying around with it’. Can you pls do a video step by step blurring multiple faces . THAT would actually be useful

I think it would be best to download the free version and see what does and doesn’t work. If the basic features are all you need then you’re all set. I got this when it first came out and the only restriction I remember was the resolution of the videos. It wasn’t as powerful back then so it might have different restrictions now. I bought the full version when it was new and only cost a few pennies so I don’t know what you get for free at the moment. All of my videos are made on it. The content I do is not to most peoples taste though.

Make sure you have the correct quality export setting. This ouputs 4k on my iphone perfectly.

Go to Volume, then slide over to the right and you’ll find a bit where you can fade in or out or both.

I’ve used it for all of the videos on my channel. It’s not a big channel but that’s not because of the app it’s because of my content 😂

wide format videos on UA-cam is where the revenue is. They don't pay that much to creators for putting out the short form at videos.

You learn an editor by working in it. Blurring faces… thats an obscure edit you’re trying to do. Not even sure it’s possible with splice
Some can abuse tech by Spoofing links and splice advice vids to change beliefs and supportive views
🚨 Full tutorial… if only you showed how to cut a section out of the middle of a clip to shorten it.
