    Look for my next video to find out how long the Bluetti was able to run my furnace?

    My furnace is wired up to my generator panel. But I want to do this as well so that I can run furnace over night on my bluetti and not have to run loud generator. So thank you for posting . Also will do this for my folks house.

      It ran for 22 hours, shut off the Bluetti at 10% left. Temp outside was 28 Fahrenheit and the furnace was set at 72

      Could you open the cover of the new electric box so I can see how it was wired? I understand if you can't

    One thing I don't like about that power station is the pretty big AC wall charger. It is really hefty and huge for a charger.

      Yes I would agree, they have 2 versions. One doesn’t have a fan.

    Thanks for the review of the AC200Max but I just find it too big and huge for a 2kWh power station.

      Interesting, since I built and area in my RV to house the unit. It was important that it be somewhat square. Most of the other units in this power range on more long than wide. Even being 63 I have no issue move it around.

    1. Not saying it is unsafe for the one who knows what he's doing, but adding the male plug like that would never pass a proper inspection.
    Why? When you flip back to line power, those exposed prongs (yes, I know they are behind a rubber cover) are energized and that's just a no go there.
    2 Will it work? Sure,.
    3. But there is also the risk when you have a battery supply connected, feeding the furnace, and accidentally flipping the switch. You will the backfeed from battery supply into the line and eventually your panel. Just a big no no. Your switch needs to be ganged, eliminating any risk for backfeeding (essentially like the small transfer switches you showed in the beginning of your clip).

      Won’t disagree, the outlet is up high and labeled with a warning. I am going to put a thermostat lockable cover over the outlet. Didn’t want to spend $300 on the transfer switch. I am going to install a multi circuit transfer switch beside my panel in the future. Purpose of the video was to highlight the Bluetti can run my furnace in a power outage. Thanks for watching & your comment.

    I have a high efficiency gas furnace with a DC motor. I tried using a Bluetti EB150, which is about a 1500 WH unit with a 1000W inverter. I have separated the furnace from the panel with a switch and a plug and receptacle. When the furnace first powers on, it works on 1st stage, then it does not work for stage 2 or 3 of the furnace? Any idea why?

      @WATCHLLS  Рік тому

      I am not sure why, have you put a meter on the line to see how much power it’s pulling in all three stages.

    Hello, thanks for doing this video. My question is how much wattage did the furnace pull to ignite the furnace? I tried running my direct vent gas water heater on my ac200p and it overloads right when it's trying to ignite the water heater...so I've assumed I cant run the furnace???

    • @WATCHLLS
      @WATCHLLS  Рік тому

      I have a newer furnace with a DC motor. It pulled maximum 246 watts from startup to running. The AC max and the 200 p has surge to 4800 watts
      Doesn’t make sense a furnace pulling more than that to start

      @@WATCHLLS hmmm, how does your furnace ignite? Is it a spark(like a gas stove) or like a glow plug that heats up really hot? That might be the difference.....

    • @WATCHLLS

      @@niagaraadventure4705 I hear it clicking so spark type. What kind of circuit is your hot water heater connected to, how many amps?
