It's crazy how much fun, and how hard, cycling can be. When I bought my first mountain bike a decade ago, I realized that I hadn't ridden a bicycle since getting a driver's license 25 years earlier. Took a bit of getting used to!
Cool! Glad to introduce you to a new adventure! I've also hiked the PCT, CDT, and a trail in sweden called the Kungsleden if you find any of those interesting.
I really like your videos. I am about to finish section 10. I have 2 questions. First, are you going yo hike the wooded sections that you skip with bicycle? Secondly, you mentioned doing kayaking. When are going to do this? I am planning in April. Keep the video coming be safe and have fun
Hope you enjoyed section 10! I will not be hiking those sections on this particular journey. If I get the chance to do that someday, I wouldn't be opposed. The kayaking starts in Smithfield and immediately follows these biking sections. This particular journey is all about going across the state in one go. I bet April would also be a lovely time on the river.
@@JeniferJourneys Thank you for your reply. I met a man who was through hiking except the roads. Either way is a great way to explore this state. I hope you have a wonderful safe trip/journey.
You may already have passed the Raleigh/Durham area, but if you need any help with shuttling (you and/or bike) so that you can hike through Segment 10, feel free to reach out.

Haha, I had the same experience several years ago when I got this bike. Almost had to learn all over again.
Wow. Your video started playing without me knowing what it was, I never heard of that trail. Going to look for more e of your videos. Thanks

Thanks for the wonderful scenery! 😀 👍
Glad you liked it!
I really enjoy your videos. You have such a wonderful attitude. Enjoy the journey!
Thanks! Glad you like them!
Absolutely beautiful. Love following your adventures.
Thanks for following along!
This biking part looks like a blast!👍
Quite fun!
Hooray for episode 6/7! 🎉
🙂
Awesome hike/ bike trail /trip
Thanks!
I need more blue bird days in my life
Haha, yes I've been lucky. I hope you get some!
Now you'll have to bike all the rail trails. We've had a lot of fun doing that.
Cool! Yeah I think I would like it too.
That hat/hood/helmet combo makes quite a fashion statement.
😂😂😂👍
You think that's impressive? Check out her CDT video day 114, around the 2 minute mark. I'm waiting to see her top that one.
I might just have the photograph to top them all--just don't think I can share photos through youtube comments....
Yes. I do put lots of goofy looking things on my head. Maybe it'll catch on.
Glad you’re being careful on your bike! I’m so used to mountain biking, that road biking always makes me a bit nervous.
Same here, I dread when I'm on the road.
It makes me a little nervous too. Most drivers give you room, but not all of them.
6:24 another "choose your own adventure" we like those! But good call if your bike is more of a road bike.
Oh yeah. I think I'd be eating a lot of gravel.
The no bikes sign was a let down. I dream of my first mtb tour. Which is why the CDT and AZT are on the radar.
I met a couple CDT bikers when I walked that trail. Seems like an amazing adventure!
😋👍
🙂
I rode my bike during my MST journey. It was a blast. Let me know if you need any support in Segment 10.
Thank you!

Thanks so much! Yes I've already gone through, but I appreciate the offer!
