Stob Ban (The Grey Corries)

A cold crisp winters day i decided to go back to the Grey Corries munros to tackle Stob Ban which sits in behind, i missed it out when i did the other 3 Munros on the ridge a few years back.

Thanks Pat a cold one that day was struggling to get some decent footage and couldn't get the drone up with the wind just a typical day in the winter mountains, was still a great day out good walk in up the glen to the bottom of the mountain as well. Atb Ally 👍

Great wee day out Donny was absolutely freezing up there so didn't hang about to do much filming, but the walk in to the bothy is a great wee walk , the minister is freaky meeting him in the dark, but I had seen him the last time so New he was there🙉 but all in was a great day. ATB Ally 👍

Thanks Brian that walk up then the wee minister appears it's creepy in the dark 😳 but made for a good wee start to the vlog, it's was freezing up there did hang about to do much filming, but was great to get out brilliant walk in to the bothy aswell , only down side my crampon got stuck in my trousers and ripped them 🙈🙉 but will defo be back up there to do the corbetts. Thanks Tam had a enjoyable day but was freezing cold up there. The cold was running the batteries down quickly but still managed to get enough footage , looking forward to getting back up there for the 2 corbetts looks like a good walk. Atb Ally 👍

Enjoyed that Ally, great edit👏👏 I shat ma self when I 1st saw the wee minister so meeting him in the dark would have been creepy🤣🤣 it’s a lovely walk along the Glen altho I cycled in. Cracking wee bothy and good camp spots around it.⛺️👍
Looked bitter on summit and defo not hanging about weather. Yeh I couldn’t keep my of those 2 corbetts also.👍

Thanks Frank the wee minister is a bit creepy in the dark🙉 I was going to take the bike but ended up not bothering probably just aswell as the road have a lot of ice on it, that must be the smallest bothy I have seen. need to get a day out on the 2 corbetts they look brilliant, the top of stob ban was freezing 🥶 my battery ran out just after that the cold got it but had spare but was still worth it still got some good views . Thanks Robert a great glen for camping up there and the bothy I think must be the smallest about. Stob ban from the bothy is quite a short walk to the top pritty much straight up. But fairly enjoyable day. 😉 Atb Ally 👍

Thanks Dave if you don't know he's there it can be scary especially in the dark lol, i had seen him before when i did the Gray corries so new he was there . Its a great walk pretty straight forward but nice walk up to the bothy even if you weren't doing any of the mountains. I am definitely going back up there to do the 2 smaller Cobbetts they look like a cracking walk as well. Atb Ally
