Thank you for reminding us what a good county Botswana is, we tend to take it for granted sometimes.. Thank you so much🙏.. We love ppl from Ghana, there are so peaceful, don't do crime and they respect us as much as we respect them.
Thank you for your kind words! It's heartwarming to hear such appreciation. Botswana is indeed a wonderful country, and it's great to feel the mutual respect and love between our people.
A country that has never been colonized but under British protectorate, highly rural and having a population of about 600 thousand when it request its freedom from Britain with . They were traditionalists doing subsistence farming basically cattle keeping and other livestock. They were not mentally polluted like many other Africans who underwent colonization. They are true example of Africa before colonization. The good thing about the country is that people there respect peace, law and order. The government is the best in serving the people in education, health care ,infrastructure development and is not corrupt. You cannot find adult fighting or if you are find that it would be a rarity.
We have a lot to learn from Botswana
Thanks

All Africans should read up on Seretse Khama and his leadership philosophy and track record. He was never a populist or a demagogue or megalomaniac. He believed deeply in his culture and ancestral lineage.
Seretse Khama, the founding president of Botswana, is an exemplary figure in African leadership. His philosophy centered on pragmatism, cultural pride, and democratic values. Unlike many leaders who fall into populism or autocracy, Khama focused on uniting his nation and fostering economic growth. His legacy demonstrates the power of principled leadership rooted in cultural respect and democratic ideals, making his story a valuable read for all Africans.
Perfectly said. Another important point to stress, pre colonial Botswana already had democratic ideals and institutions. There was nothing the whites could teach Botswana in this regard and Seretse Khama understood this implicitly unlike his peer Kwame Nkrumah unfortunately. Africans pretend like we did not have democratic governance and models in the past. The tragedy of not understanding your history and studying it relentlessly like other cultures. God continue to bless Botswana, one of few examples of African excellence.
Our culture in Botswana and every Motswana's heritage is deeply rooted in traditions, rules, tabboos, ancestral lineage and most importantly God. I love my country sm. Read about the history of Botswana and the migration of the Bantu Speaking people. All Africans are descendants of the same genome, I believe 😂
Thanks Lerato and ur guest for promoting our country
Thanks very much!
I will visit soon. Ghana is messed up
It shall be well.
It shall be well
Thank you! We're thrilled to have the opportunity to promote this beautiful country.
Viva Botswana! Viva Seretse Khama! The secret to Botswana’s success is that they reconstituted and updated their pre colonial governance structures and traditional authorities. They did not foolishly try to appropriate their colonizer’s political system and institutions.
Are you ready for an interview to throw more light on that. We would love to learn more from you. I will be waiting for your response. Thanks
Botswana's success lies in its ability to modernize and integrate pre-colonial governance structures and traditional authorities, rather than blindly adopting the colonizer's political systems. This blend of indigenous practices with contemporary governance has fostered stability, unity, and sustainable development, exemplifying the wisdom in respecting and updating traditional frameworks.
Ase!!!! I am no expert just a steadfast admirer of what Botswana got right whilst most Africans got wrong.
The problem of African progress is population size and GROWTH Africa's population is growing faster than governments can provide services. Botswana, Namibia are not too populated so easy tomprovide and maintain services. Once these things are on place population can slowly increase.
Thank you for sharing your perspective on African progress. While it's true that rapid population growth can pose challenges for service provision, it's important to recognize the potential of this demographic as a valuable resource. Investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure can transform this growing population into a driving force for economic development. Botswana and Namibia offer examples of how effective governance and resource management can lead to sustainable growth. By focusing on comprehensive development strategies, African countries can harness their population growth to foster progress and prosperity.

What does it mean to vote wisely? It’s only two parties and both come and don’t put any systems in place for the people to enjoy their country like Botswana.
AS for timber please, Ghana has no timber anymore.
Hmm
Botswana 🇧🇼 , is a country where some offences are punishable by hanging.
We refused to assist our President to stop gala and all water bodies and forests are disappearing.

I am struggling with understanding why fellow African are held as prisoners due to immigration. African should be able to travel freely around the continent. Africans go to the west they are imprisoned now I am hearing of improvement in Africa of Africans. I understand the immigration protocol but something just does sound right? Doesn't sit well with me a product of the slavery trade
I understand your concerns. The situation is complex, and it's crucial to balance security with the freedom of movement. It's essential to continue advocating for policies that promote unity and fair treatment for all Africans, both within the continent and abroad.
The leaders need to put the interest of the Africans first. Too long are Africans suffering because our leaders fail to work for its people. Security is everyone's concern. But to infere that borders exist because of other Africans bringing crime into peaceful countries is sad. We have to start thinking of each other, not as a threat to each others security but put very strong measuresin place to deal with criminals. Africans flee due to hardship in thier own countries. They are mostly law abiding people trying to find a better life. If people are hungry and oppressed, they will turn to crime. Leaders need to use the resources to enrich the people so they don't want to leave to go find a better life. They would just travel to explore and experience what other countries in the continent has to offer.
@@dkm6486 I completely agree. It's crucial for leaders to prioritize the well-being of their citizens and create conditions where people can thrive without needing to leave their home countries. Addressing the root causes of hardship and implementing strong measures against crime can help build a more unified and prosperous Africa.

I have a doubt that my country Angola does not have a Botswana embassy, how do I get a visa?
I will check for you Boss
Botswana in reality is better off with less direct people to people association with most of Africa, in order of perniciousness, West Africans, East Africans, Central Africans, and Southern Africans. If we want to do Botswana a favour, let's us stay home cause the little good we can do will be outweighed by our degeneracy.
What about Northern Africans
I appreciate your perspective, but I believe that unity and collaboration among African countries can bring significant benefits. It's important to focus on building positive relationships and contributing to mutual growth and understanding.
@@loratotv4960 I agree but the foundation of any beneficial unification requires shared values otherwise you will create a lopsided arrangement where one party will expliot the other under the umbrella of brotherhood. Therefore the first step to unification is a harmonisation of values; this, uncomfortable as it is, means calling out one another for the wrong we do. It's not in Botswana's interests to open up its borders to Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, or to a lesser extent, South Africa. Its not a surprise the self styled pan Africanist, president Museveni is not in favour of open borders across Africa for the very reasons listed above.
Can I get your contact sir i will love to move to Botswana i am a Nigeria i stay in Ghana i want to move with my family

Hmmmmm! Ghana went to Rwanda to learn how they managed their sanitation system and came back to implement nothing but millions of dollars ending under sanitation ministers bed.
It was even embarrassing for city officials from Accra to opt to visit Rwanda to learn about sanitation management. Very embarrassing.
@@bowgate3817 absolutely, what’s difficult about sweeping and disposing refuse in appropriate manner at a designated location for processing. If that’s hard for officials in Ghana then what good could we expect. They don’t learn from the numerous trips to abroad about anything. They’re not observant neither are they diligent in any sort of respect!
The key points here is system working and law abiding people can you say that about Ghana? Very nice segment.
The systems actually work here.
