I just replaced my fuel control module after my e90 kept randomly shutting off. Replacing it seemed to fix the stalling issue this far however now it doesn't always start on the first try. Now if I go into a store and come back to it 20 minutes later. It won't start until I lock the doors and let the car reset. Any idea what could be the issue now?
Mohammed habibi the module is ekm3 and not ekpm2 it need ista he can buy one used with the same number and it will work
What’s the difference between the 2?
Check the hi pressure pump
ok
It was good to replace the module but I also agree the pump needs replacement too.

It’s located behind the rear passenger back seat or to the right back seat.
