Them finding out the Ghost Type being a Wrath just before that contributed to the fear. lol
The best part about this stream is visibly seeing Lewis die internally as people talk about ghosts like as if they're real
Which is why, years ago when their Don't starve camping videos came out, I pushed for Lewis, Simon , Duncan , Kim and Hat Films to do a proper over night shoot in a alleged haunted location. It would be fun to watch a logical sceptic like Lewis try and explain anything that happens, or at least wind himself up as every little sound sets the teams off.
@@Believer1980 In many parts of the world it is completely rational to be a bit scared of sounds out in the dark of the forest/jungle. You better have a shotgun on you just in case.

Love seeing Leo, Lew and Ped trapped in a room while the ghost is hunting outside the door, meanwhile Ravs is huddled in the van clutching the crucifix.
I haven't gotten to that part yet so I'm just imagining them all actually in that situation and it's hilarious.
1:37:40 begins pretty much THE funniest moment in this stream. Even though this game is janky as hell it really is a lot of fun watching various groups play it. I hope more of the Yogs pick this up. I saw Hat Films played with Sips today and they managed to get the proximity chat up and running and it was FANTASTIC. More of this, folks!

@@shooty22 Yeah, it was on Twitch so it'll be in their vods (All four of them, sips at his channel, Trott at hat films, Ross at rossperu and smith at alsmiffy). I'm sure Hat Films will have a couple edited versions on their UA-cam channel at some point but they don't reupload the full vods to UA-cam anymore. Sips for sure will have the full vod up at some point on his Sips Live YT channel.

The game has potential. It's still very early access, and it's being patched so often that it sometimes happens twice a day or more. Also it can be played in VR, and that's supposed to make it many times more intense.
The only thing I would add, is a few more killing animation that scares the shit out of you, and maybe some jump scares when you find the room where the ghost is. Maybe more equipement, but more scary killing animations is a must!
@@fuckdefucker jump scares would kill the tension and atmosphere, theres aleady an oversaturation of jump scare games.

@@fuckdefucker Definitely not jump scares. They are aren't horror. This game takes original slenderman and makes that genre better. Jump scare kills horror
AE V You don’t have to put alot of jump scares, just meaningful ones so that can be a bit more stressed, at this point i havent been really scared to play the game which defies the goal of a scary game

I fell asleep with this video on, and their voices carried into my dream. It quickly became a dream I was aware of, but could not wake from. I spent almost an hour trying to wake up from the dream unsuccessfully, and it was one of the most terrifying things I have ever experienced.
Nothing against the yogs, but I will forever remember this video for that.

@@crowabyss9551 I just watched it, and it was a great laugh! They even played it more properly than I expected... though relying solely on the in-game voice chat could've made it even spoopier for them.
@@ComXDude The in game voice chat is so annoying to use at this point, it's buggy as hell, and i've watched multiple streamers spend the first 40 minutes of the stream try and set it up.
For example sometimes if you talk in the chat before everyone is loaded into the game one person is suddenly unable to hear anyone.

Was in Boy's room. Instant cold breath, it spoke and had fingerprints.
This is the Goone Squad we're talking about. 3 minutes is 30 minutes to an hour, while 5 minutes comes out as 10.

Yeah it's great, me and a couple friends got it two days ago and I already have 12 hours of game time in it.
It's like that Bigfoot hunting game (you know the one, it's one that yogscast has played), but for Ghosts.
This is what I was thinking too. I think it's part of why I like it, I loved seeing people play that too.
This game has basically got less than 10 incredibly simple mechanics and lord do these guys make it look hard 😂
1. Find room.
2. Use tools to narrow down ghost type.
3. Provoke ghost.
4. Get picture.
5. Get money, women and fun.

The Hat Films and Sips play through was hilarious with the proximity chat.
Watching them struggle through the literal tutorial was a bit painful but fun to watch the rest of it

This Fall, 4 people, discombobulated at teamwork and obsessed with coomstains, completely ignore the instructions or coordinating and enter a spooky house, to never be fan appreciated again. Tune in, for: "Yogs wishing they had RTFM".
But while I wish they did actually read the instructions and worked better together, there were some funny moments

Apparently me and Leo are the same about spooky games, I just about died IRL doing this tutorial. Most of this tutorial i had no control over my own breath at all. I screamed way more though.
The bendy player models are killing me. Was this game built in an engine that was designed to make ultimate limbo games?

I had to do the webcam trick the other week to play D&d my fancy headset died and I don't have a spare... I should probably invest in a spare in case my current headset dies.
if you watch the dresser behind ped at 1:20:57 a ghost orb appears very briefly. It is a little hard to see with the night vision on the camera but it looks like a little glowing white dot that flies from the edge right above ped towards the center of the monitor where you can see it right before it disappears in front of the dresser.
