In an interview RM said he and the director have talk about Wild Flower MV since the last 3 years. So.. my assumption everything shown are intention and have meanings to portray how much he have gone through for the past years. He also specifically use korean traditional fireworks called nakhwa nori - made from stringing tiny bags with a combo of charcoal made from salt and burnt mulberry onto ropes that get hung over water and lit. Most of the time, they are burnt over water as it creates a beautiful scene of color and vibrance. RM even have to reach out to a culture council or something.
RM said in the shooting sketch for ‘Still Life’ that he really struggled shooting it because it was so different from the way he was used to shooting MVs, mostly the parts on the train I think because they did have to shoot the parts over and over like you mentioned. He also said he had a hard time conceptualizing it so he was excited to see how it all turned out. That match cut where he sits back down on the train seat they showed in the shooting sketch and apparently it took dozens of times to get RM’s movements to match exactly to the first time in the other outfit. That was crazy to me that they didn’t want it close or similar but /exact/ match. That’s our RM and team, nothing but the best. 😎 ‘Wild Flower’ is so beautiful as a song and the MV really matches it so well in mood and feelings. I tear up every time I watch it. 💜 The scene of him standing in the water under the traditional fireworks is so breathtaking, it just amazes me every time. He said the ashes were falling in his face so he was glad the shots looked so nice.
RM is an artist in every way you can imagine, not only is he a good writer and producer, but even his music videos are so well done that without seeing them you will know they are from him
Namjoon is the father of kpop tbh. He’s just a living art himself, and I’ll forever keep on saying that. The way he portrays his music, his lyrics, him talking in general is just soo chef kiss. Seriously, he needs a podcast or something, he’s so well spoken.
Of course we know that our RM is very smart and it showed his genius in this song and video. I’m still Surprise It hasn’t reached at least 50 million views by now. Love RM💜❤️
Yes me too I try to stream it out of my busy schedule as much possible but what can we say solo stanning has made it impossible and that too Rm is the least loved breaks me
I remember when I first watched the Still Life MV... I don't know what happenedd to me, but it gave me a so happy sensation, my heart was almost exploding, if wanted to clap a lot and hug RM and the MV Director.... RM didn't like too much the way he had to film it hehehe not used to... but the outcome was simply perfection!
If I remember correctly there is very few green screen shots (like him in the storm and him on stage are green screen) all the shots in the flower fields and the fireworks are really In wildflower
its good to point out that bang jaeyeob directed still life, which made so much sense to when i found out after watching the mv. he and the vfx person for this mv just outdid themselves i was in awe!! also wild flower was such a cinematic experience for me i started to tear up knowing how much love and dedication namjoon's put into this song and the entire album. big big kudos too to woogie kim the director of the mv who translated the lyrics so so well. indigo is personally the best album that came out for me this year!
I loved the traditional Korean fireworks, RM is such an amazing person. He is proud to be Korean and he loves to show the art and beautiful side of Korea! Jordan, HOW DID I JUST SEE THIS TODAY?? Love all of the reactions..Mamamoo, Stray Kids, and BTS are my faves...oh wait Seventeen as well!!!
This wildflower song is with one of the most profound and purest lyrics and I think nobody but RM can write and interpret it so beautifully ❤ thank you RM and also thank you Jordan ~
I fell in love with his entire album!!! By far the best album I 110% makes my heart happy! It’s like each songs speaks to me. He has worked soo hard! It paid off 🥰
I am so proud of RM.He is the leader BTS ,in addition to that he has a great perspective. The song lyrics are reputation of his character.'Every day and every night' is turning in my head nowadays so badly. As in a song that I love so much (Champion /Chris Brown ) ...Some people wait their turn " It is time to appear for RM 🤴💜 Our lovely king ,he deserves all the best .Hardworking times brought the success 👏
I can tell.you were really impressed and loved these videos by how serious and non chaotic (which I do love cuz its fun) but sometimes it's very animated. This one was as if how in a museum one just stands and is amazed. Loved it and as always learned so much. Thanks!!
I was so in love with wildflower but then the whole album came out and I was like 😵😵😵 it’s all so fkn beautiful 👏🏼👏🏼 he’s an amazing artist. One of a kind 💜 also that first vid- omg I swear it’s the gorgeous music vid I’ve ever seen 😭🤩
I was waiting for your reaction omg! When all 7 of them have officially debuted solo, you should make a collab with a producer (Blake McLain, for example) and a choreographer (Elliott, for example) and have a throwback reaction of their oldest to the latest best works!
He really went all out definately is unique and went all the way with different perspective his lyrics mv and album as a whole is new experience hands down the best album thanks for this breakdown not everyone gets does this i really enjoyed the reaction too
Thank you for the breakdown. I love your reaction. This gave me a different perspective, it’s as he was dreaming. Namjoon is art and poetry emotion .Grammies!
Thanks for your professional breakdown of this video. I already loved this video but seeing it through your eyes makes me appreciate it even more. Keep up the awesome work! 👍🏼🤯👍🏼
First time seeing your channel. Thank you. The Nahnwaktori/firework wires were real. He worked with Lumpenss and Mother production companies for his video. Lumpenss as worked with BTS alot for their videos.
Actually, the "glitch" effect you pointed out, is based on David Hockney's photographic collage series. They're a series of photos of a subject and arranged to make a bigger picture, but the photos change angles and/or perspective to show dynamics, like movement or the fish-eye lens effect in videography.
I love ur video sm... I thank u not just for appreciating namjoon's art or his music but also be I learn fr ur videos a lot all the time... more power to u 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yeah, my request was conceded! I was waiting for your reaction to RM's MVs and I knew you'll love them. Love u bro and thanks for stay reacting to the boys works 💜

I just realized I was not even subscribed to your channel but I've been watching your videos for months! You add so much value to my experience of watching a music video, I'm really thankful! Well you earned a new sub
This is such a good video, so interesting and pretty simple to comprehend although I know little to nothing about filming and techniques such as the ones used in the mv. It's all very much fun noticing the seemingly little things though!

Yes, thank you for the explanation.

he is literally a real artist
For real! You can tell immediately.
I’ve been so impressed with everything RM has done with Indigo. He took 4 years to make sure it was all done his own way. He’s a true artist.
Namjoon and the staff who worked on these are awesome
Namjoon is just so clever and talented and awesome
Thank you Jordan
Thank you for watching!

I'd love to hear a podcast with him 💜
11:50 If you watch the behind the scenes video, it shows that RM had to do that part multiple times to get that match cut just right.
Of course we know that our RM is very smart and it showed his genius in this song and video. I’m still Surprise It hasn’t reached at least 50 million views by now. Love RM💜❤️
