My accoms, it comes out of your paycheck if you work for the mountain. No utilities or internet etc
Thank you so much for this video!! I’m moving out to Whistler in a few days and I got put in the glacier housing so I have a bunk bed unfortunately. Is there anything you suggest or recommend bringing out?
In terms of housing - they provide you with a shit towel, a blanket, one pillow, and a bed sheet. Out of those id recommend bringing along your own pillow and a towel - everything else you can get in Squamish if you've got access to a car upon arrival or can stop there on the way (there's a Walmart there which you can get things on the cheaper end).
Hey! Just wondering if you have any idea when staff housing for the winter season is applicable? Majority of the jobs on whistler site still seem to be for the summer season, cheers!
hey hey! I applied for the job in may, got the job in June and then a couple of weeks later they opened applications for staff housing... for a position that started end of November haha so I'd recommend looking towards the end of the winter season (march-april) to see if there's any job fairs in your area for the following year x!

I'm planning to work there in 2021 winter! Wonder if your staff housing is called: Brio, Glaciar, or westside?
these are the options for staff this season, but it's hard to find any information about it.

I was at the Glacier location! unfortunately you aren't able to pick where you're placed when you're offered staff housing. But in any case, brio is more spacious and I think you get one less roommate - but its also further from the main village. From glacier you can walk 2 min and catch a gondola up the mountain for work/ski ;) Westside is even further and generally has older individuals who have been working for the mountain for a while and have yet to have had housing kinda thing.

its in the actual hotel. way different than wb staff housing
So sorry for the late response! But yes the Westin is it’s own thing and will provide their own housing! I had friends who worked at the Westin and loved it
