Newcastle beats arch-rivals Sunderland, away, and advances in the FA Cup

Newcastle beat Sunderland 3-0 away from home at the Light Stadium, this Saturday morning, January 6th, in the third round of the FA Cup. Thus, the Magpies qualify for the next stage of the competition. It was a victory with much celebration for other reasons as well: this is the derby with the greatest rivalry in the North of England.
