I own the Vignale left drive, no sunroof, which has the similar features. So... 1. About the warning, they disappear after a while. I remember this annoying me at first, but I don't notice that any more. 2. Yes, the separation of the volume/track buttons is still one of the things that annoys me. I do lots of miles in the freeway and I usually relax and drive with 1 hand, so when I want to skip tracks, I do have to raise my right hand... I know it sounds lazy, but that's the way it is. About the accidental push of a button, I really never noticed. Maybe stop driving like a truck driver?! or buy a wheel knob? 3. About not being able to talk with the sunroof open, I must say that I really have to disagree with you. First of all, the MK8 is one of the most silent cars right now on the market. I also can't talk with the window half open @80km/h or more and the voice recognition doesn't understand a clue, but the sunroof is huge which comes with these drawbacks. 4. I've got the halogen lights with the automatic high beam. I really find them working ok most of the time. I own my car for almost 8 months, and I really had to turn off manually 2 or 3 times and this is when the windshield was dirty. In the demonstration that you show, I see lot's of dirt on the window. Maybe try to keep the sensor clean? 5. About the rear turn lights, I also noticed that the last days, although the brochure mentioned about full led lights, but still, I think it's a minor and easy fix by changing to led. Bonus 6. The start/stop. It always resets to on after turning off the engine... This is the most annoying thing for me at the moment, and I will ask my dealer to disengage it or put it on the off position by default. I had an old guy reversing on an intersection without noticing me, and thank god he stopped after I honked him. Although I tried to back up a bit, the engine stalled, because the engine was firing up and I left the clutch like the engine was running... Bonus 7. Be careful on the front mounts of the headlights. I've got one broken without hitting anywhere! Thankfully, my dealer offered to replace the full headlight, but he seemed like he knew there was a problem, because he didn't ask many questions, something that raised my suspicions for more future broken mounts. Thankfully, I've got as a bonus the 8 year warranty, but only 100k km, so we'll see how this goes. In general, this car for me, is the best value/money. I got the Vignale 1.5TDCi because of the economy and although it costs almost like your's I still find it pretty cheap for the features that it offers. I would also suggest you to check at the forscan program for playing with the various features. Don't get cheap on the module and keep a backup. Also, if you've got the B&O, don't enable the screen climate buttons, because the surround sound option will disappear. One thing that I'll add later is the ford pass module to control the car remotely. By the way, I hope that you've made the updates of the SYNC from 2.3 to 3.0 and the update of the maps to the newer 7.0. Cheers.
The amount of times I have changed track because of the steering wheel is insane! Always when I'm in the middle of an awesome B road. That is my main annoyance with mine, otherwise it cannot fault it!
I would never order a sunroof for a hot hatch😱 so this would never be a problem for me😉 and next weekend i can say more, because i will have an ST for a testride the whole weekend😉
I've got the diesel 1.5, 120bhp. God that torque!!! If you want an everyday usable car, I totally recommend that engine. It's fast and ridiculous economic. Although at some point they'll switch to the newer diesel units of the focus and kuga, but I'm totally satisfied with the performance of the diesel engine.
The updates that the car has on the stereo is only for the stereo module and the maps. For an update on the car itself, you should ask your dealer to update the various modules or try to find them yourself. I find both solutions a bit too optimistic, because I asked many dealers so far, and most of them have no clue about updating the modules, except on ford recalls. I hope that someone will find and release some updates and be able to make the updates by yourself, for example with forscan. Please remember that are living in a transition period that these cars are like legos and each feature is in a separate module and not handled by one main module. I think this new generation of cars will have lot's of tweaks if some skillful hackers will start playing with them. We'll see.
Could you make a tutorial on how to align the lights in the tailgate? I have the same problem as yours, if you look closely, you will see that the rear lights are not aligned as it should be. Thank you! Keep on make videos, they are very useful!

@JB CTR In the settings menu there is a lighting sub menu and it says traffic left or traffic right. I looked in the manual, but there was reference to this menu. By default it was set to traffic left. But I would think here in the UK you’d want that set at traffic right?? Have you seen this and what’s your thoughts?
I have seen this, saw that it had defaulted to traffic left and assumed that was correct, as we drive on the left. I believe that is the direction of the headlights so that when you drive on the continent, you can just flip them over and not have to use the reflective strips.
JB CTR I think I’ll park up against a wall and see if there’s any noticeable change. I am gutted, took collection of my Race Red ST two days ago and I found a bunch of imperfections in the paint. There is small black pepper sized grains under the clear coat across the car which means there clear coat is bubbles much like a phone screen protector with dust on the screen and it causes a pocket of air around the speck. So I am giving the car back to the dealer to see if they can do anything, but I doubt it seeing as it’s under the lacquer. So it looks like it’s a new car for me! Very annoying seeing as mine had 4.9 miles on the clock.
levenway I didn’t mention them as I don’t have any rattles! In my experience, Ford do have issues with interior rattles but they are car specific. Fortunately, I seem to have got lucky, but time will tell if it stays that way!
This is strange. I didn't hear any strange rattles or squeaks anywhere in the plastics or the interior in general. Maybe take a ride your local ford technician to check this out. I'm sure it's fixable.
You're not the only one with dash rattles, my Zetec has them, it's due for it's first service in a few days and I'm gonna tell the garage to check because it is really annoying!!

Jim Mono Depends what you are looking for in a car. For a drivers car, the ST1 is ideal, and you save a significant amount of pennies. If you want some toys for day to day life, then consider an ST2 or ST3 😁
Carlos Montoya pumaspeed is the first company that turned these cars up they done one with a 1600 eco boost engine with 340hp and second done there stage1 map pumaspeed is actually a ford dealer who turned these up and revo is manly evo and Audi company but do fiesta as well

If I bring it back to the netherlands I have to pay the difference in taxes anyway. We are pretty screwed in the Netherlands if we want to buy a fun car. All we have here are Fiesta 1.0 in low trim and other small cars with non-turbo 3 cilinders.
