Don’t understand why the need of dancers in The mist of military band, kinda adding wasabi to chicken rice.

Dancers have always been part of marching bands, from regular dancers like these to more traditional colour/flag guards. Furthermore, this is a tattoo, which is much more theatrical. I guess it just shows how there's no uniformity in art even in something as regimental as a military band.
