    Remember it like it was yesterday. I grew up in The Dingle and the coppers only knew to do things one way, the hard way. Their heavy handed tactics were the final straw that caused all that. Thatcher`s paid Bully Boys. It was bad all over the L8 Area but it was much worse around Granby, Lodge lane etc. Whoever put some of those thugs in uniform needed locking up.

    ....There would have been no "Georgian Quarter" without the blood and sweat of black people in the colonies and the resistance of the black residents of the area against colonial style policing under Kenneth Oxford, police boss at the time. Even in the 90s clubs playing black music were closed by the cops on a racist basis.

    I lived at 161 lodge lane over Johns food store in 81. Bizzies made are life as kids, at nighttime but especially for my Afro caribbean mates. It was always going to explode also travelling out of Tocky was dangerous with other mobs from other areas. Frontline 👊🏽
