Doesn't fit their " Narrative ". The USCCA and the NRA, all 2a supporting organizations should pull out ads on local and national media, especially in high crime and 2a unfriendly areas.
People say to me “ why do you carry to somewhere like a grocery store if your just going in real quick for groceries”? I say, because you never know when something can happen and videos like this proves my point!
I love how this is an example of a decent humble family man who took on the primary responsibility of protecting himself & those around him. He's a credit to his community that directly & commendably refutes the "violent gun owner" stereotype.
I’m sorry this brave man had to pull and fire but thank God he did. You just don’t know what they would have done on the way out. God bless you and your family.
This young man did everything right. He assessed the situation correctly, knowing where the two perps were and how they were going about the robbery. He waited patiently for the moment he knew he could take control of the situation and go on offense. I just regret he missed the second perp at the door.
Honestly i would be scared to shoot in a environment like that. Its very crowded and he couldve either accidentally hit someone or a richocheted bullet hit someone. He's lucky that didn't happen. Because I bet that one factor would put him jail. The scummy lawyers would probably use that against him. and considering how stupid the "justice" system is i wouldnt be surprised if it worked.
Dude had such a solid press out and conditioned draw! Good for you David! God bless you! Here is more about his story! m.ua-cam.com/video/c2NV6dgYom0/v-deo.html
Is the a part 2 where he tells us his first hand account of the aftermath? I can't be the only uscca member who'd like to hear what happened when and after the police arrived. (If I remember correctly, he still was vilified later) Thanks for showing this.
He's lucky, having 2 bad guys makes it much harder to defend yourself. Shoot one and risk getting shot by the other guy. Do nothing and risk getting killed. I've seen too many videos of people complying and getting killed regardless
It is OK for children to witness their dad being a righteous warrior against villains.. those children learned a valuable lesson!! Well Done Sheepdog!!
Too bad he missed the second guy, and I hope the 1 guys pushing up daisies. Otherwise he’s in the hospital costing tax payers 100’s of thousands in bills you know he won’t pay.
Only thing wrong was he referred to the criminal animals as "gentlemen". Would they still have been gentlemen if they butchered your family and anyone else in the shop? Very tough and intense situation indeed. Hope I'm never in one.
I train a lot because i fear that if i miss, where does that stray bullet go. Nobody is going to just shoot once. You fear for your life you shoot until the threat is down or runs away.
It really sucks that he was put in that awful situation but I'm glad he was ready and able to defend his children and himself from some of the evil in our world. It's good to see that he and his family are ok. Good for him for being ready to take responsibility for the safety of himself and those around him.
Amén to this brave man for having situational awareness and making sure he had a shot and last but not least waited his turn but he couldn’t wait too long, they was patting people down so he had to act quickly and effectively
USCCA please discuss or include whether the person involved in the defensive gun use had training and to what extent. Also it would be interesting to know what gun, ammo, holster etc.. they used during the incident.
I was JUST in the barbershop and I constantly think about David's story (heard it a year ago) and how it played out. Sad we live in a world where we alway have to carry, but better safer than sorry.
I'm a long time USCCA member but reading in on it im a little worried because it says a lawful use, well I live in California and a lawful use in California is that even possible lol. I'm a legal ccw holder but with California law I'm thinking about keep uscca and also signing up for safe guard to have 2 back up plans instead of just one because of California laws its sad to have worry like this over a God Given Right
God bless the man all I can say if you don’t the Most Love this man and if you see why well you need to figure things out… I’ve been a USCCA member for years !!!!! Since before I got my ccw God Bless this Man and his family
I agree with everyone's comments and think this man did the right thing. It's very conceivable these men may have shot everyone in the barber shop. My question is regarding what looks like the 1st robber being shot in the back, it looked as though he was walking or facing away from the individual who decided to take action. Does that have any affect on this situation? As far as I am concerned the moment those men came in with weapons they had the intent to harm anyone and everyone and i feel this shooting is completely justified and necessary. Who knows what would've happened if the robbers had seen the mans gun or had heard commands of "DROP THE GUN". There is no doubt in my mind the robbers would've opened up and potentially killed his children. I am simply curious, from a legal perspective, about the possibility of a prosecutor deciding to bring charges against the man who felt he had no choice (something I think would be ridiculous!)...would there be any difference between shooting a man facing you or shooting a man facing away from you in a situation like this?
Being shot is an occupational hazard for robbers. Better them then you or your kids and any bystanders. If more folks felt like you did it would of made my 27 years in Law Enforcement a lot simpler.
This is how you stop crime but it has to be publicized. Media coverage on good guys stopping thugs needs to be front page every time it happens. In the end it’s bad for business, media needs fear for views.
My barber knows that I’m a cop and knows that I always carry when I’m in her chair. I’ve talked to her several times about this very story and she knows to hit the deck if anybody ever comes in o Rob the place.
Good performance under pressure. This is why decent people need to be allowed to carry guns; because criminals who prey on them won't be deterred by law.
This dude should be on national news. That’s was phenomenal timing. Shooting. Covering/assessing the situation/ shots on target and not wilding spraying putting others in danger.
Not something WE WANT to do but IF YOU MUST...BY ALL MEANS.....THAT'S WHY YOU CARRY. GOD BLESS YOU. (And I KNOW those children mean the world to you 😊👍💖) Texas Nana 🤠 Psalms 91
Like him,I wasn't wanting to shoot someone who was making a move towards his waist & pulling up on his shirttail. He was later found to be unarmed. He might have been bluffing me,he might have ditched the gun before the police arrived at where he'd run. All I was thinking was"WHY are you making me do this?" The rough part is that his children have seen him acting violently. That impression changes how loved ones look at you,no matter how justified you are in shooting.
What about the oft repeated warning that you cannot use deadly force on someone who is fleeing? So shooting the guy who was running out the door, in his back, would have resulted in felony charges against the father?
In most states it is not a crime to shoot in the back because police have done it & because if someone commit a felony than a citizen or police have the right to use deadly Force if a suspect is fleeing from them. There have been many case's like that too.
From minute one of my CCW license, I have had USCCA coverage for my wife and me. My wife does not carry a gun, but I added her to my coverage in the event that she is forced to use my weapon to defend our family.
He didn't go looking for trouble......It came to him and he responded properly! You're a great man David!
A real Bruce Willis in die hard hero kind ...
This guy should be all over the "news" talking about what a brave hero he is. People should know about the good guys too!
Doesn't fit their " Narrative ". The USCCA and the NRA, all 2a supporting organizations should pull out ads on local and national media, especially in high crime and 2a unfriendly areas.
liberal media would never allow it
What does that tell you about the Lame Stream Media
No sadly, they only want lies that will divide us further. No good news, especially about Black Americans.
Love to see a law abiding citizens take down evil
Awesome bravery hate you had to be in that situation at all! Glad you came out alive sir
A true everyday American hero. Good man
People say to me “ why do you carry to somewhere like a grocery store if your just going in real quick for groceries”? I say, because you never know when something can happen and videos like this proves my point!
Carry always and everywhere
Same principle as a condom. Better to have it & not need it than the other way around.
God bless that man and his family, refused to be a statistic!!!!!
This young man did everything right. He assessed the situation correctly, knowing where the two perps were and how they were going about the robbery. I am Happy, Glad and Proud when ANYONE!!! Puts Down CRIMINALS.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What a great man, an inspiration to us all.
Dude had such a solid press out and conditioned draw! Good for you David! God bless you!

This is what the United States of America is supposed to be. God bless this man being willing to do what needs done.
Glad you and family are good and you did what you had to do..hopefully you didn't have to go jail at all..
This is why I carry and why I belong to the USCCA
Exactly right....
Don't want to....... But have to 😔
Total respect David. Who knows how many lives you saved that day.
Is the a part 2 where he tells us his first hand account of the aftermath? I can't be the only uscca member who'd like to hear what happened when and after the police arrived. (If I remember correctly, he still was vilified later)
Thanks for showing this.
@USCCA - Does your insurance cover me if I'm at Home? In my Car? In my Yard? On my Porch? While Open Carrying?
Yes, they just don't cover you if you are in NY lol. Here we can't even subscribe to the membership.
@@FRamirez1A Yeah, I think WA State "banned" them as well. CRAZY!
Go to their website. The coverage is described there. While you are there, you will see that the membership is a great value.
@@daneoriatti5009 Thanks Dan
@USCCA - Thanks so much for your Reply! Oh, wait... Nevermind. The OTHER Company Replies to Comments and Questions.
You won't hear a peep out of the media about this. Thanks for taking a stand and doing what's right.
I'm 1st...I Win...lol & We the People Win!💥😎🇺🇸👍
I saw this B4 on USCCA website.
Sick of people not wanting to work would rather rob, steal, cheat and kill
He's forever to be known as Jerome Wick from here on out!💪🏿💯
I'm guessing he doesn't have to pay for a haircut ever at that barber shop. 🤙🏻👍🏻
I would like to buy David a steak dinner. Maybe we can hit the range too. 😁
Seeing that video, this guy clearly has some serious training.
Probably been exposed to violence more than a couple of times in his life. That likely why he carries. Any person of sound mind should carry
@@djilly75 doubt it, or he would have e said that. He's probably just intelligent to know that he chooses not to be a victim like he said.
He's lucky, having 2 bad guys makes it much harder to defend yourself. Shoot one and risk getting shot by the other guy. Do nothing and risk getting killed. I've seen too many videos of people complying and getting killed regardless
Great job handling a terrifying situation. Thankful you and your family came out safely. Be blessed.
Don't feel like scrolling down hundred times. What happened to guy that got away??
It is OK for children to witness their dad being a righteous warrior against villains.. those children learned a valuable lesson!! Well Done Sheepdog!!
Great example of the value of 2a. Also a great example of responsible gun ownership
Too bad he missed the second guy, and I hope the 1 guys pushing up daisies. Otherwise he’s in the hospital costing tax payers 100’s of thousands in bills you know he won’t pay.

Great American man
Thugs came to hurting people gets why they deserve. 100% with you men.
This man is a hero.
The way that man moved you'd have thought he did this every day! Good reactions, this is why training is so so important.
I train a lot because i fear that if i miss, where does that stray bullet go. Nobody is going to just shoot once. You fear for your life you shoot until the threat is down or runs away.
Even with this video as evidence I’m sure this man went thru hell defending his name and reputation
A travesty, if so.
Mad respect sir, well done!
when seconds count the police are minutes away...

a sobering reminder to us all. this man was protecting himself and his children. i'm sure we all here respect that.

Yes, and Iam also interested how this ended up for him, consequences, how police treated him, jail..?? We want full real story, not that news lies.
I was JUST in the barbershop and I constantly think about David's story (heard it a year ago) and how it played out. Sad we live in a world where we alway have to carry, but better safer than sorry.
His children also learned a valuable lesson and will probably grow up to be responsible protectors of others. Great job, David!
This is what the media should show, a good person stoping a bad person with a firearm
Great story, I hope it helps others understand no one is there for you but you.

He could not have done it better
Great distraction method.
Can we as A gun Carry get involved in Robbery at the Gas station or at the Banks..❓❓❓❓❓

I believe this happened in Cleveland Ohio. I urge our Governor DeWine to sign the Constitutional Carry Bill.
A Law to have a different law be enforced? The USSA is a Joke.
The soul usually seems to know what to do when fear leaves. It’s hard to explain it. Specially with some training.
Being shot is an occupational hazard for robbers. Better them then you or your kids and any bystanders. If more folks felt like you did it would of made my 27 years in Law Enforcement a lot simpler.

Good for you. I'm a elite member of USCCA
Did this guy have to go to court or was he arrested ( the good guy )? Just curious what happened with the police i a situation like this..
This guy was a hero
News stories from the time also confirm one of the Barbers had legal CCW and responded as well.
Good for you 👏 great thinking and keeping your head in that terrible situation
A good example of, "a bad guy with a gun gets stopped by a good guy with a gun."
Wow!! This man is truly a hero!! Thank God he had his sidearm!!
Well done sir!
Had to be the dumbest place to rob especially how they just assumed no one was armed
Im surprised that they didn't try to say that the robbers were leaving when he shot them.
i feel bad for him, he had to shoot someone but it was in the name of protecting his kids and all the people around him
Wow guns saving lives. I wonder why I haven't heard this story on the news
I heard about this story thank God he was armed
This one again? I'm sure you can find new material.
This is what the media needs to put on TV. It’s to bad they’ve been bought.
So, what was the aftermath? Did the criminals get caught?
I wonder what caliber David carrys 9mm maybe.
Good job. Nope Not Today. Thank god no innocent people got hurt
How many times are y'all gonna recycle this story???
