It’s statistics why you got the scholarship, not your google skills.
you have zero idea how many Asian, or international students apply to harvard and other top colleges. Also the students who get IN harvard, all of them have better grades than the americans that got rejected. Plus there's ZERO scholarship for international students at most colleges for graduate level where most apply.

There is another strategy. You can go into a local collage and a smaller community collage for about 2 years then move on to the rest of your collage path to save money. Instead of paying up to about 2k per class, you can pay I think 200. It will help.

I'm going to secondary school this year (Highschool but in Ireland and the UK) and I got into the hardest secondary school to get into, it's €6,000 a year, and since I couldn't afford it, I got a scholarship and I'm so happy! (The downside to it is if i don't get good marks/grades the person who is paying for me, won't pay anymore so I would have to leave, but no worry I get good marks at school :3)
