I ve watched a lot of lessons and I'm telling you yours is great! Right tempo straight forward and concise. Seems simple but seems people struggle. Thks!
Fantastic!!! Great lesson and explanation. I am a drummer that's been banging around on guitar since 1967 when Hendrix hit the scene. Tonight I now know I've been playing that great song WRONG for 50 years. Thanks so much, you nailed it !!!!!!
Oh, you're so good. When you do those bends @ 3:22 & 3:24 I get green with envy. I never dreamed anyone could play this on an acoustic. Thanks a million
Great fantastic lesson. I think that you have it down perfectly. The only thing that I have found different in the intro is when you slid down to the D chord, the G string is not open. You play the A note on the 3rd fret to get the full ringing D chord. Thanks so much.
I have been messing with the song a little more and it appears you are correct. The intro that you play is correct. The G string stays open and is muted when you slide down.
great playing & teaching on a amazing creative song... wow the musicians from the 60s & 70s were amazing...CSNY and Neil solo ..... never again.... our brains are too swamped with techno nonsense.... Peace
Hey Anthony I agree I’ve been a fan since their first album but don’t put all the new generation in one box, remember it only takes 1 person out of millions to be a Neil young or 4 people to make up csny and I believe they are out there, just watched Crosby doing Woodstock with 3 younger people, AMAZING. Peace to you my friend
Sounds pretty good but why tune down the low E to a D? I think it would have been easier to just play straighup G chord. But other than that I got a lot out of it. BTW doesnt that intro sound a little like "Woman" from DOuble Fantasy album. I thiink thats the song.
Excellent, too bad you didnt do it on the 'lectric' as it makes a big difference when holding, hammering, puling off etc. but for the acoustic it was cock-on m8
I've been playing it wrong for over 20 years. Thanks for the lesson.
You're the only person I've seen play this right. It took me about 20 years to figure it out myself.

Well done. You just taught me how to play this great Neil Young song. Thank you.

Sorry, couldn’t follow you. I wish I could have. Maybe if you would have been more clear with the finger positioning, and did a close up.
