When is it best to use a full windsor vs the half windsor knot? Does it depend on how wide the collar is on the shirt?

Go step by step slowly and don’t let it get twisted, keep the wrap flat as you go, if that makes sense. Also keep it snug enough as you go along.

Clear and straightforward instruction. I wear a tie so infrequently that I always manage to forget the various knots when I need them. This was very helpful.

Thanks for a very good tutorial - just would like to know how to adjust the tie when starting out so that the lengths of both sides turn out right. Isn't the tie supposed to end up just touching the top of your belt?

Hey thanks for a perfect tutorial, this was great, simple and easy...whether you are an amateur or someone like myself who has been wearing bow ties or if you've had your butler knot your ties... then this is probably the only instructional video you'll ever need! Love the half Windsor too!

Pinch the bottom as pull it up to your neck. The tighter you pinch the better the triangle.
