Thanks so much! Here watching from Houston Texas, my 14 year old son has to dress up on Basketball Game days in Jr High and this is the 1st time I've ever had to mess with a tie. My dad was a in construction and so is my husband and pretty much everyone I know so no one has ever wore a tie! I watched several videos b4 I found this one and this one made it so easy! Thanks so much🥰🥰🥰🥰
Atlanta, Ga, USA. Failed with the windsor but the half windsor was a success.I just needed to tie my Ravenclaw tie. Now my wizard look is complete. Thanks
Thank you so much! I had trouble with the knot and not a single video showed how to make it triangle shape, thankfully you said how and now I can go stylish while my friends look foolish
Grrrrreat instructions, nice and slow for a 66-year-old woman. Here watching from Milwaukee WI. My husband looks great! This by far is the best one and I’ve seen a few! I don’t write reviews but I had to stop and give you kudos!!! THANKS!!!
Thank you so so much! It takes a couple of tries, but you’ll soon get it in the end! I always used to asked my neighbours and friends to tie my tie for me, and now I finally know how too!! TYYY
First time 👌🏼😂 very clear precise instructions which is great for someone who rarely has to wear a tie (usually to weddings) and wants to tie a good knot
I had to move away from my family into a hostel and here my uniform requires a tie and I was so nervous about how I'm going to do it. Then I saw your video and boom I could perfectly wear my tie now 😁
Thank you very much! The best explanation from 3 I watched. Thanks for your lovely British too😊! From California, helping to my son who is graduating high school.
Thank you very much...We will have our Book Character Pageant tomorrow and I have to wear a tie (Hermione Granger School Uniform )...This video is really helpful and easy to follow :D
Wonderful, I'd forgotten how to do a half Windsor. I prefer cut away collars on a shirt and the half Windsor looks much better. More classic and stylish. Attending a funeral tomorrow and want to look my best paying my respects
Found it interesting that you went the other way with it after making that initial loop over the top. That is actually considered the correct way to do it. The downside is that when undoing the tie at the end of the day, the knot doesn’t unfurl itself. You’re left with an actual knot you have to manually untie. For the most part I prefer doing it the “wrong” way, which is the more common way.
Very good but apparently the tie I was working with was way too short because I used the same length that you did for the thin end to start but ended up with a short tie and a very wide knot.
Wish these tie experts would do this knot on a pencil or skinny tie. They all use thick ties which I have no problem with, unfortunately my workplace requires pencil ties and this method just does not work
Montana, USA. Could not figure out how to make the knot triangular until this video. Many thanks friend!
You are welcome!

I’m left handed and did this using opposite side. Thin end on right side instead of left.
Did it work the same?
@@sleepylayla967 Yes it did, same principle, easier to manage for left handed people, not awkward.
@@r.p.9021 thank you so much, im left handed too and was wondering if i coukd still do it!
You can tie any tie either way. Glad you got it!
