- Gina Campbell, daughter of Donald Campbell CBE, releases an official statement to the public regarding her wishes for the future of Bluebird K7, her father's beloved hydroplane.
Jeff Carroll from The Ruskin Museum added their statement confirming the position of the Museum.
'Bluebird' the new song by Sophia Dady was played to the people of Coniston during the press conference which took place in 'The Bluebird Wing' of The Ruskin Museum.

A dignified plea from Gina on a very emotive day for her, with a very moving tribute to her father's memory, which clearly affected her deeply. Good to see Mr Whoppit wearing his medal (and I love the blue nails!)
Now we just need to get the boat back where it belongs.

A very balanced and emotional speech from Gina - Lets hope this sorry tail moves swiftly to conclusion where we can see Bluebird back in here home and also giving the chance to see her run at Coniston ... and I hope that event will be celebrated with some more emotional music from Sophia

What an emotional event, and such a beautiful and fitting song. Is any legal action likely to be taken against the chap who won’t give Bluebird back? If funds are an issue, it’d be an excellent candidate for crowdfunding.
