Twinkle In His Eye from the Bluebird Album was written as a tribute the one of the greatest heroes of our time - Donald Campbell CBE, on what would have been his 100th Birthday (23rd March 2021). He achieved eight absolute world speed records for Britain in the 1950s and 1960s with his beloved "Bluebird" CN7 car and K7 Hydroplane Boat. Tragically he was killed in 1967 trying to beat his own water speed record and is buried in the village of his much loved spiritual home, Coniston.
