The other Amerika bomber : Arado AR-555

After declaring war to the USA, Germany was prey of the massive Bombings inflicted by the huge bomber raids lead by the Uncle Sam. If the B-17s and B-24s could be chased by the Me-109s and eventually Me-262, the Luftwaffe could only defend itself due to the fact that it had no bomber with an enough long range of action to reach American coasts in its arsenal. But, the German engineers of the Various famous aircraft manufacturers wanted to prove that it was only a question of time before a plane of the Third Reich could attack the most Powerful nation of the world. Among the many projects were B-29 looking planes like the Me-264 but also aircraft with a very special shape : the Flying wings! The most know of these was the Horten H.XVIII. But a company which was producing mostly training planes just entered spectacularly in the race of the creation of Wunderwaffen with its new bomber. Arado which also proposed not one but several flying wings. The very little known Arado AR-555!

I learnt to speak English in France but I have Cossack roots on my mother's side which explains the accent😂 (I'm working on it)

I built an R?C version of the 555 and it was very COG sensitive. Pitch control was dodgy and sensitive.
