I saw a documentary when they were paid, the British, they informed them, they have two choice, either they stay or go back home, some stay some travel back home. Reparations need to be paid, but at the end of the day, there is no amount of reparations that can right the wrong of slavery. My people literally have been stripped of every connection to Mother Africa except for our genetic make-up and even that has been tainted due to the grape that occurred. Also they had breeding farms here in the US where they used male slaves to breed with women slaves to produce more slaves so they didn't have to go to Africa to get more slaves. They owe us more than money. DNA test should be free, but yet and still we have to pay for them.

Reparations would come from the government of the colonizers, not from the colonizer's descendants, even though they greatly are prospering from the vast weath that their ancestors extracted from the free labor of the colonies. It is the government that paid reparations to other people that suffered unjust treatment of our government and these other people did not suffer chattal slavery, treated like cattle., literally like cows and horses, farm animals. The farm animals and dogs were treated better. Dogs are still adored by colonizers above the indigenous dark colored Americans who are hated by everyone collectively, who is not dark brown.

Guyana was one of the South American countries what was discovered and conquered by the Portuguese (The Jesuits), when they massacred most of the indigenous population mostly lived in the jungle. Then later the Dutch took over that colony, there were many slaves arrived from West Africa presumably Ghana and the entire West African coast. The free labour was at least 18 hours a day forcibly working and abused by their white Christian masters. The Dutch ruled that land for a century, they invited many people from India to come and work and manage the slave so that the blacks wont be able to take part of the economy, so that reparations will never be paid. There are many Dutch towns and objects that still have Dutch names in Guyana. That was also a former Dutch colony before the British took over. Then the British took over Guyana and Ruled it since at the same time as the Berlin Conference that split up Africa. The new name was British Guyana, next to Dutch Guyana (before Suriname independence in 1975). Guyana got her independence from the British empire officially in 1966. But of course, Guyana was slowly heading to economic collapse after their independence. The British still controls the financial flows and the resources of that tiny country that only has less than a million inhabitants. Many offsprings of the black slaves migrated to their mother country Britain, and most migrated to New York or in the rest of the Caribbean, only a handful of the diaspora or the offspring of the former black slaves are in mainland Europe or back to the motherland Africa. Some are even trapped for generations in India when they were brought their as slaves in the slave trade
