Kudos to the consideration you give to the creatures you're catching, being considerate about filling up clam holes you dug up, dispatching crabs before the boiling, trying to leave little trace of human activity etc. High production video and excellent commentary = a great video to watch

I like that people are no longer as likely to dispatch via boiling just in case we simply do not understand the way they feel pain rather than them simply not feeling.

Great job with this video! I watched it with my 6 year old daughter and she was very engaged with the show you were putting on explaining everything you were seeing! Now we are going to give it a try and she wants to eat a clam. Thanks for sharing!

I had cioppino at one of the old school Italian seafood places that used to be on the wharf in San Fran in like 1991… I have been making and loving it ever since. I love hearty, messy, peasant food. I can't imagine how good it must be with ingredients that fresh.

Don’t forget to mention the max harvesting mussels is 10 lbs per fishing license in CA.

Daniel, I’m a Daniel too… and I love anything to do with the ocean or the coastline. My wife is Filipina, I’m American Japanese and we love to eat all seafood. So your videos on harvesting seafood and cooking it is really interesting for us. I’ve traveled the world as a Air Force Veteran and been able to enjoy catching and eating seafood around the world. It’s a blessing watching you do the same along my native California coast. Thank you brother for the super interesting UA-cam videos that you create. Daniel Suzuki, Retired USAF and Vietnam Veteran

Out of the thousands of food videos I watch on UA-cam this was seriously one of the best I have ever seen. Great intention and vibes all around and the way you appreciated your food was awesome.

I love the underwater camera. And how you explain what everything is in the tide pool.
