I wish every beige color on a watch would stop being referred to as “fauxtina”. The color was obviously used here as a design choice and not to project a vintage appeal.
All valjoux 7750 based movements are going to be around that number. Take a look at IWC, much the same. One thing to note with this watch is that the case "steps" in, which hides that height. Compare it to a Tudor Black Bay Chronograph, which looks chunky. This watch wears really nicely, providing you have the wrist to handle a 51mm lug to lug.
it comes in the historic dimensions of the 156 - back then it was a huge watch, nowadays not so much - but we hear you loud and clear. Maybe you can try it on somedays.

I do not agree that it is obviously not meant to "project a vintage appeal"
Very versatile. Great combination of bezel, dial and complications. I would definitely use a different bracelet or strap, however.
The only thing I missed in the whole review was a reset button. I'd like to see that plane fly baby!
It’s a beautiful wristwatch but why doesn’t it have the new and superior clasp?
It will be available at a later time (with the new clasp) - we will announce availability online.
I don't like the wide date window.
Appears to be really thick.
It really comes down to how big your wrist is. I have a 7.5” wrist and even 15mm+ thickness looks excellent.
Yes daddy
