It doesn't matter how good the quality of camera is right now. Samsung has a tendency to downgrade camera quality via software updates as phone gets old and newer flagship releases just so that people will buy the newer device. S23u, S24u have almost the same camera hardware as s25u apart from 50mp wide angle lense. Makes no sense why their camera especially S23u's look downgrade obnoxious especially with oversaturated colours and oversharpened grainy images now with OneUI 6.1. Although I hoped to see better camera performance with the selfie cameras with HDR and with the other, not main cameras, at night this year... Kinda disappointed.
Actually its not anymore competition between Apple and Samsung anymore especially in terms of Camera quality.. you should compare with the best Vivo X200 Pro
Vivo has a limited global release. It is only available in two European countries and is not sold in the US. This is irrelevant to 99.9% of people, as we lost a two-year warranty in the UK, there is no support, and there may be carrier issues. If you have a local release of Vivo, then it matters, but this is a West-based channel, so there is no point in comparing it to Vivo if we cannot buy it locally.
It doesn't unfortunately look at the brick wall at the bottom and try reading the text. The iphone is a bit better the saturation is nice on the samsung though
So, almost identical to last year. Not a surprise. For 99.9% of users who are uploading their images to social or sharing with friends there's zero difference. Both phones are great, and your choice will depend on your current OS. No one should kid themselves into thinking one phone is superior to the other. If you care about fidelity, you would just use an actual camera.
@ClockBYou can keep arguing as much as you want, Samsung is the photography king for now, it could be better at videography, but it doesn't disappoint either
@ClockB Better is subjective and the difference is marginal enough to not be a factor anyone but professional users. Most users are uploading video to social, where compression will shorten that gap even further. We need to stop pretending like the majority are filming with LOG and making movies with their phones.
Once again the battle of the two biggest flagship phones, I think Samsung has the higher end when it comes to the pictures and iPhone for video quality
10:11 Not sure with this one but the jittery all over the place you're talking was present on the iPhone shot at the ultra wide video. Maybe the 2 shots were shuffled or just a misdirection 🤔
Yeah the shakes on S25 is more noticeable probably because of higher detail. IPhone clearly has much more shake to it but it's kinda hidden under the blurr of everything else
Not really impressed with Samsung's "Nightography" that they highlighted with the S25 release 😅 hope they'll do something with the low light performance in future updates if possible, at least tone down the excessive warmth
Keep in mind that Saf has no idea how to setup the Samsung for those shots, first and foremost. Pro mode is what should be used in all situations, but the iphone doesn't have it. So you're looking at the barebones bottom of the food barrel on the samsung, against many updates for months and months on the iphone, and the Samsung still out-performed it in most situations, on pre-release software. Facts and details matter...
awesome video comparison! but It really is a shame Samsung removed S-Pen bluetooth functionality! I was about to pre-order and then found out! I LOVE to use the S-Pen for remote shutter control and gestures - now it is "just" another stupid stylus... how could Samsung do such a stupid move?! the WILL cost them quite a few sales! dang... was almost sold - had it in the basket and for some reason my stomach told me to check after the S-pen functionality - funnily enough it got removed 😡
I mean get the s24U. Literally the same phone for less, but technically it has more to offer lol. And no, nobody is gonna notice any difference in performance.
S24U is still a very good phone. The biggest leap from 24 to 25 is the CPU, so if you don't need it for any cpu intensive work then S24U will do more than fine
Taking macro shots on the ultrawide camera is not ideal, as you have put your camera much closer to the subject. A telephoto camera or a telemacro is better for macro.
in certain photos at night and during the day the iPhone won, the S25U has a lot of noise here the iPhone won... but in night video 5x zoom the S25U was the best
The S25U was better over all in all facets he tested. Did the iphone have a better shot here and there? Sure, but that could easily have to do with the photographer taking the shot, not the device. The same photographer can take a better or worse shot on EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE. It's the overall consistency of better shots from the Samsung that makes it a much better camera suite, and having Pro Modes on the S25U, as I'm a professional photographer, means it wins easily. The iphone doesn't have it, or 8K video. So how could the iphone win any of it. I could stand side by side with him on every pic/vid, where I'm using the Pro Modes and get a much better pic/vid every single time, in any circumstance. That's what the Pro Mode is for.
@@AquaStevae I will say this, Samsung's pro mode is worthless, absolutely nothing. I have the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, its pro mode is far superior. The S25U has the worst cameras ever. To defend Samsung, everyone knows that the S25U will be a disappointment.... I'm a photographer too and I know what I'm talking about
Very relevant and very well done video with different focal lengths. Congratulations for your work, but what would be nice is that you could give us the opportunity to download your photos in JPEG format so that we can compare ourselves with a large screen because the rendering is not the same in video.
Saf, you left out the autofocus test (with your business card in front of the T2 exoskeleton)! I wanted to see how the autofocus speeds compare, as that is typically something the iPhone always wins thanks to its LIDAR sensor. I was also hoping you could compare how well (or not) the S25U captures subjects with sudden motion (like kids or pets) as this has also traditionally been Samsung's Achilles' heel.
There's one thing I'd like to see more of and that's a full on low indoor light video test using the selfie camera. I've found the video quality in indoor lower light to be poor on Samsung front cameras. Lots of artifacting and even the background sometimes moves with the subject in those situations. I'd love to see more in depth testing in regards to this, as the rear cams we know would be better, but I'd only upgrade if I find the front cam video quality in certain comditions is leaps and bounds better.
I can tell you why there is a difference in focal length at 10x - I assume the 5x and 10x "factor" is based off of the 1x "Main camera" - so a 26mm equivalent main cam would habe a 260mm 10x while a 24mm "main cam" has a 240mm 10x - hence the factoring! at smaller zoom levels it is not nearly visible enough - but at greater zoom lengths the diffetence grows as well!
iPhone has professional Apple ProRes and Apple Pro log, and Apple Pro Raw for still images. For casual users, pick the Galaxy. For professional use, iPhone stil the better choice
Processing on samsung sometimes is overdone, but you can turn that off. Generally speaking, i was personally always happier with samsung camera than iphone. Inowned both brands :)
iPhone isn’t better in long run they make your phone slower by sending new software updates they kinda force you to upgrade your phone and I’m tired of upgrading my phone after every two years so this year I’m buying Samsung to see how it goes but in my opinion iPhone looks way better then Samsung it’s the design📱
@chigozie424 "As a Samsung user for years now". Read my comment again. Blows me away how you just read the second sentence and assume I glaze Apple. I've been using a Galaxy for years. I do not like iPhones. But one can't deny their cameras are better. Not just more accurate colors, but higher resolutions and less artificial sharpening garbage. If the iPhone was that bad I'd call it out too. I'm the one hoping for Samsung to improve, and they're not going to get better without criticism because they're way too complacent right now. Just because it's popular to call people iSheep doesn't mean that there isn't truth behind those claims, otherwise people just wouldn't buy iPhones.
I'm a Samsung and Android fan, but I still used to recognize the iPhone as a better camera phone, especially in the video department. But with the last 3 ultras (S23, 24, and 25) Samsung has upped its game so much. The S24 Ultra beat the iPhone in photos and came soo close in the video dept. last year. But this year - I'm finally happy to prefer Samsung. It beats the iPhone in photos and several video categories. The number of categories in which the iPhone lags behind Samsung is greater than the number of categories in which Samsung lags behind the iPhone. 😍
We've reached a point where the quality is just so good the only difference is the colour profiles and stylistic choices which all can be changed on either phone to how you like anyway.
I always likes the samsung photo and video quality, but when it brings exynos to europe i did go to iphone. Now i go back to samsung again🙌🏻 i have to say iphone make in night better photos in general.

@@andyH_England vivo is available in India and Asian Countries
10:14 the difference is crazy ! S25u retains more details here
10:11 The iPhone was jittery instead.
By the way I don't know the spelling of jittery if it's right or wrong.
I fear it swapped and that Samsung is actually the iPhone video
It doesn't unfortunately look at the brick wall at the bottom and try reading the text. The iphone is a bit better the saturation is nice on the samsung though
Thanks you made me pre order it ❤
Once again, great camera comparison can’t go wrong with either phone iPhone
Appreciate brother❤❤❤. Great comparison
Thanks for the video, would like to see the S25U vs the Google Pixel 9PXL
Same here
Seems like you are biased for iphone, it is clearly seen in video that Samsung camera is better than iphone in most cases, except night mode.
Not once did he call out the stutter that the iPhone video produced. And he's the only one I seen with yellowish pics from the s25 ultra.
Mad cuz iPhone better. Wait til 17 pro max 😂
@@blackice51374 Mad cuz iPhone better. Wait til 17 pro max 😂
@@IndiigoAni why would I be mad and what's funny? What is it better at?
So, almost identical to last year. Not a surprise. For 99.9% of users who are uploading their images to social or sharing with friends there's zero difference. Both phones are great, and your choice will depend on your current OS. No one should kid themselves into thinking one phone is superior to the other. If you care about fidelity, you would just use an actual camera.
Bruh iphone is clearly better at least in video graphy
@ClockBYou can keep arguing as much as you want, Samsung is the photography king for now, it could be better at videography, but it doesn't disappoint either
@ClockB pained bro replying to all comments just because he's an apple fanboy. Cry
@ClockBI can't understand the iPhone glazing, Samsung phones and generally android phones are more customizable than everything iOS has.
@ClockB Better is subjective and the difference is marginal enough to not be a factor anyone but professional users. Most users are uploading video to social, where compression will shorten that gap even further. We need to stop pretending like the majority are filming with LOG and making movies with their phones.
Great video! I love the clean look of your inside shots. Very inspiring.
Thanks mate, try to keep things simple
Wow a real comparison, a professional work, very well done. Definitely, this a site that you can rely on and it is not biased.
Much appreciated ❤️
Once again the battle of the two biggest flagship phones, I think Samsung has the higher end when it comes to the pictures and iPhone for video quality
prefer the 25, thanks for the comparison..😊
Ok oversatured lover😂
I love this guy, Super Video Saf 👌🏻
I've been waiting for a video comparison! Can you compare the camera and video of the S25 Ultra to S24/S23 Ultra???
10:11 Not sure with this one but the jittery all over the place you're talking was present on the iPhone shot at the ultra wide video. Maybe the 2 shots were shuffled or just a misdirection 🤔
Exactly...
And Iphone is more shaky as well, it is up and down like crazy
Yeah the shakes on S25 is more noticeable probably because of higher detail. IPhone clearly has much more shake to it but it's kinda hidden under the blurr of everything else
RIP S24 Ultra. Welcome back S24 Ultra S
Wow Saif you are fast with this one keep up
Thank you
love this channel very honest
Looking at this video, I think my S24 ultra looks better
Should I cancel my trade?
Yes. It is absolutely pointless in upgrading from an S24 to an S25. Zero. You are wasting your cash.
Yes, agreed. Don't trade it.
I was surprised that the iPhone beat the Samsung in low light telephoto. 😮
There just cheating for the IPhone, as usual.
Next please S25 Ultra vs S24 Ultra I subscribed to you, keep up the good work.
When it comes to camera comparison supersaf becomes superchef as he cooks well in it.
awesome video comparison!
but It really is a shame Samsung removed S-Pen bluetooth functionality! I was about to pre-order and then found out! I LOVE to use the S-Pen for remote shutter control and gestures - now it is "just" another stupid stylus... how could Samsung do such a stupid move?! the WILL cost them quite a few sales! dang... was almost sold - had it in the basket and for some reason my stomach told me to check after the S-pen functionality - funnily enough it got removed 😡
that's the biggest disappointment
Such a shame. I own s23 ultra, and I always use the remote shutter function in the stylus for taking the pictures of myself.
@@AquaStevae bro you are in every comment fighting for samsung, are you ok? I mean they are just phones 😂
I'm a photographer too and I know what I'm talking about
@@Ehiplays he is a samsung fan
There was less noise on the 5x zoom nighttime only because it was much darker than the iPhone
0:44 can also take pictures in raw with samsung....
As an iPhone 15 user, I honestly wanted to go with a 25 ultra but very very, very, very disappointed
If you have money sitting around and you dont own the pro version it would be an upgrade
9:51 does anyone notice a snake on the roof of the house in S24 ultra ?
Not a snake
Samsung has the same🤷🏻♂️ log vid, expert raw, 8k, manual settings like the apeture...
U do realize theres an app called expert RAW I'm galaxy store that can do most of the stuff abv
@zeuronplana8541 lmaoo he didn't know. Samsung way ahead
2:34 that green grass on the S25 Ultra looks so fake
Processing on samsung sometimes is overdone, but you can turn that off. Generally speaking, i was personally always happier with samsung camera than iphone. Inowned both brands :)
Bro just chill it's 25ultra and it will kill iphone 16 pro max in future...so chill ❤
Just stop dawg iphone fan boi it's over s25 looks fire can't wait to go out at night and still take fire photos in the dark
5:37.... I thought I was tripping😅
Yeah I had to rewind because I was like huh?
So this is the video I was waiting for 👍🏻
Tq saf 🙏
6:40 iPhone 😍 it also capturing rain makes it 1000x better
Still samsung can't pull up with iphones camera. What were they doing for 1 year.
Al bs machine
i already ordered samsung s25 ultra 512gb jetblack special colour .
I have tried these 2 phones, and I think the Vivo X200 Pro camera results are better. I think you need to review it.
i wish vivo had the oneui and better cooling i would've bought it in a heartbeat
Good work bro👌both phones are on another level🔥
S25 ultra is still better at video imo
I think it's better even though it lost focus but the stabilization was better
I dnt know where ur coming from
No way look at the shadow area
iPhone is WAY better.
You must love yellow tint on your pictures

iPhone isn’t better in long run they make your phone slower by sending new software updates they kinda force you to upgrade your phone and I’m tired of upgrading my phone after every two years so this year I’m buying Samsung to see how it goes but in my opinion iPhone looks way better then Samsung it’s the design📱
@MrSpammm bro you know samsung became more laggy and weak after 2 year🤣
As a Samsung user for years now, the S25 Ultra has a terrible camera. iPhone blows it away.
Isheep I see you
@chigozie424 "As a Samsung user for years now".
When he said iPhone was adding noise reduce to the teddy because it was an android teddy 😂😂
Better story is coming also, very minor errors are fixed, loved it❤️
Iphone 16 better ❤
iPhone 💪💪💪
6:08 your jacket is black our blue ? 😂
I think black in iPhone and blue in Samsung 😊
7:18 the selfie camera in samsung shows the jacket black and blue in iphone
King of camera comparison no doubts ✋
Jumma mubaraka brother
Amazing job 🤝
I'm a Samsung and Android fan, but I still used to recognize the iPhone as a better camera phone, especially in the video department.
But with the last 3 ultras (S23, 24, and 25) Samsung has upped its game so much.
The S24 Ultra beat the iPhone in photos and came soo close in the video dept. last year.
But this year - I'm finally happy to prefer Samsung. It beats the iPhone in photos and several video categories.
The number of categories in which the iPhone lags behind Samsung is greater than the number of categories in which Samsung lags behind the iPhone.
😍
woah man s25 really improved Video
tbh, iphone camera is better than S25 ultra 😢
We've reached a point where the quality is just so good the only difference is the colour profiles and stylistic choices which all can be changed on either phone to how you like anyway.
Great job, Bro
I always likes the samsung photo and video quality, but when it brings exynos to europe i did go to iphone. Now i go back to samsung again🙌🏻 i have to say iphone make in night better photos in general.
