    I did the math since he didn't say what we really wanted to hear....It's 2880 x 1344 resolution at a size of 22.5 ft by 10.5ft wide or about 300" diagonal.

    Once you do this for hundreds of times setting up even bigger screens takes only a couple of hours most of the config included. It's simply how easy it is! It's wonderful to witness LED technology coming so far ahead of what it was 25 years ago!

    Hey man, Solid content breaking down the set up. It would be good to know what panels you used & more info on the products or even alternative products you used in the past or the next upgrades? Also tutorials on using the software - But this is great video content, keep pumping out this awesome info!

    That is a lot of Ethernet cables, you could have donne like 16 cabinets on one port, and in novastar procesors you cand specify the tru resolution of cabinets and it will show up in windows as the true resolution so any content will look grate and you dont need to crop enything.

    192x192 pixel count
    Lets go P2.6mm pixel pitch
    More pixel count, much clearer content specially at nearby distances. 😊👌🎉

    Sir, behind the dance stage, the e-motions, videos, are played. Who is that instrument seen in many events, what does it say? Can it be placed on the wall of the room? Please tell me what motion videos have to be connected with and if you connect them, the videos can be seen through that display.

    great video looks and sound like you know what you doing,
    last night did a 4Vx 12h but when I ran it the top row looks out of the bottom look just fine, tried other cables but no change. I have 500x1000 P3.9 panels, i wired them 16 to one data cable and the ramaing to other data cable in a C order. any comments would be appreciated.

    I'd like to see a smaller setup for retro gaming. I.e. a 240x320 display that could genuinely replace crt arcade monitors without ghastly upscaling.
    Those giant led pac man arcades look nice but I want to see what street fighter 2 looks like on 3mm panels.
    If they could make a controller that updated a 60hz 240p image line by line (like a crt) so it worked with light guns... it would be retro gaming heaven.

      @joergr82 Місяць тому

      @ which is what I did but it did not show anything. No problem whatsoever on a smaller tv on the set but will not show on the led wall

    • @liveproductionmastery
      @liveproductionmastery  Місяць тому +1

      So you are either running into a frame rate issue because your processor doesn’t have a scaler built in. Or a resolution issue as your processor can’t handle the probably 4K signal your fire stick is putting out. Or lastly an EDID issue which is super common when combining consumer protected devices with professional broadcast/rec/display devices. You either get no signal, or a weird pink or green signal. The solution to this is not to run it through a bi directional converter or decimator but rather loop it through something that can talk to it directly or ignore the EDID for you. Something like super cheap $7-$30 hdmi splitter or tiny matrix switch. Make sure it can do 4K but these tend to do the trick. So a cheap hdmi splitter or something to run your fire stick through.
      Honestly you could have 80 different problems with the information provided of just my fire stick doesn’t work. Could be your input settings, could be more then just one issues causing no signal. I would try the cheap splitter and make sure it works on the smaller TV then try it on the processor and see if that solves the problem. Good luck!

    I have one that's 26ft wide by 7ft tall with resolution of 2688 x 672 so sending stuff to the wall is a pain because of the ratio. what do you use to send the image to the wall? do you just have the switcher connect4ed to the processor?

    • @liveproductionmastery
      @liveproductionmastery  Рік тому +1

      I usually just connect switcher to the processor and then let the processor position the input on the canvas the way I want it but in your case you have a couple options. Yours in more of a super ultra wide or 2 screens side by side. So in your case;
      option 1 - I would send a computer directly to the wall with 2 feeds. Then do two separate inputs to your processor and have them show up side by side. Or do a mosaic of both screens so the computer treats it as one super ultra wide.
      Option two, run your system through a multi M/E switcher and use 2 M/Es to send 2 feed to the switcher. Again side by side. Then use something like your black magic atem switcher with M/E 1 left and M/E2 right and use DVEs with macros or companion to place any content anywhere you want across the two screens, even putting content in the middle by cropping a DVE to half on the left. And a second DVE on the right making one image in the middle. And you can still have a background loop going behind. This is using up stream keyers in the switcher.
      Option 3: just send a standard 16x9 single feed to your switcher. Then increase the size proportionally until it fills the width of the screen. Then center the content horizontally to the screen. This prevents any stretching but basically cuts off the top and bottom sections of the image. You can set these custom dimensions to something like power point so the content fills the entire screen without anything being cut off for the power point.
      Let me know if you like these ideas or need any help executing them with your system.
      Thanks!

    • @SebastianJimenez23
      @SebastianJimenez23 10 місяців тому

      @@liveproductionmastery thank you so much for the thoughtout response. I ended up using option 1 and kind of 3.. using one computer created a custom resolution second screen with the size of the screen. sending that to the processor and using propresenter to send things to the screen. added NDI inputs from other computers so i can show and hide when needed on top of the background image or animation.

    hey grate job i have a doubt ,can i connect video wireless where every in the world using ip its possible ?

    • @liveproductionmastery
      @liveproductionmastery  Рік тому

      In terms of the video wall, you can connect HDMI, SDI and display port. So you could plug in a computer and then remote into it from anywhere in the world or stream a signal via a RTMP or SRT signal using black magic encoders and decoders or really any system you want. But the wall and processor themselves do not do video over IP. You would just plug in a device that does that.

I'm still trying to figure how to get each panel to align and crop it down to fit most of my desktop.

    Question
    How would you connect a camera(s) to a video wall to show live video during a event .?

    • @CamOpKyle
      @CamOpKyle Рік тому

      There are multiple ways to get content on the wall. Most processors can take several types of inputs such as SDI, HDMI, Display Port, and fiber. Older processors like the VX1000 even support DVI, but that standard has been mostly phased out of production use. Once you get your wall configured, you can connect a camera directly but you have limited control on the processor. Most of the time you would run your cameras and media servers through a switcher and then send your program feed to the processor.

      @@HarryL2020 Yeah definitely 6 digits. The curved wall shown at the start may even be over a mil in USD. I work with 75 square metres of Absen 2.5mm, and it was a half million £ investment. This is a very nice wall, I like how they have 0.5m bases so they achieve smoother curves. We only have a few of those, most of ours are 1m bases as the majority of our work is flown or ground stacked in straight sections.
