I was clean shaven during my uniformed career for about 35 years but always wanted a beard. I knew nothing about beard care and have learned much from your reviews. I recently bought some Honest Amish because of your positive content and so far, I'm really liking it for its quality ingredients. The smell takes a bit of getting used to, but it's growing on me, and it doesn't last long. It is making my beard feel good and very workable/styleable. Honest Amish was my first beard company, when I was still figuring out how to use products to try to make my beard look good. Started with the balm, thought I needed a stronger hold so I went to the heavy duty balm, thought I needed an even stronger hold (my beard is patchy and curly, so I wanted to try to make it look fuller with a rock solid, beaten into submission shape) so I got their beard wax and the premium oil to go on the skin first (that was my first time using oil on my skin). Did that for a couple of months before realizing that the way to make the beard behave better was to grow it out more, nourish it, and let it have a more natural look with lighter hold products and training it with combs and brushes. Still use the oil (after a night shower) and heavy duty balm for nighttime. Would use them regularly during the day again if the scents were better. I think most of us in the beard community owe Honest Amish a huge thank you for starting us off.
It was my first love and got me hooked on beard oil....I still use it to this day and always will ..I do have others and use them to..but honest amish..will always be there good product....🤘🧔🤘
I think some times we underrate Honest Amish on price and quality. Honest Amish is the on the greatest oil and balm out there. It’s a product that you absolutely cannot go wrong with. I love them and need to get the premium oil. Thank you sir 👍🏾

I will ALWAYS have honest Amish in my collection. They are to me the best when it comes to beard products. They don’t focus on scents just great products.
Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all your reviews and also add my support for Honest Amish. I am UK based so many of the products you try are not available here, but honest Amish is courtesy of their Amazon Store. The premium oil has become my go to staple, with me using it once or twice daily. Since my beard has decided to make me look much older than I feel by embracing a little too much grey, it can need a little more attention. So when it feels drier than usual, I also add in a little of the the leave-in conditioning balm to the mix, but I prefer the feeling of just oil in a short to mid length beard. I definitely support recommending Honest Amish's lineup. And with the 2oz bottles (they last me 3-4 months), the value and the quality are unbeatable versus anything else I have tried. I also gave Seven Potions a go, and I was super hopeful given they are a local business. But for me, it was just an instant no when it came to the scent sadly. I don't know if it was down to their new packaging at the time or just the mysteries and subjective nature of scent, but it was a very artificial and plastic smell. Given they are also 30% more expensive versus Honest Amish as well, perhaps a small blessing in disguise. All the best and thanks again. C.

I started getting bombarded by Honest Amish reviews and decided last night to go to their website and order some premium oil, I also ordered the beard wash bar because of your recommendations from the review on Castile soap. So I guess I'll give that a shot and I'm sure I'll like it. I always listen to good advice thank you.
I watched this video today. I know it is a year old but as you were speaking I opened up my classic. And omg. This was also my first actual beard oil. Let me say that I was like a little kid in the candy store. I absolutely do not like black licorice. When I first opened it about 3 years ago, I thought I was going to hate this Scent. As soon as I put it in my beard, I immediately fell into a trance. This Scent is amazing. Just like then today was no different. I still love this scent. Dan recommended Honest Amish to me about a month ago, I went to Walmart and they had the “classic”. I was unaware of their other two. I have been using it at least once a day, sometimes twice. I love the licorice scent. The scent really only lasts a little while ( maybe a couple hours). before it’s evaporated. I wish it would last all day. It smells so nice. It’s all I use and probably will ever use. Thanks Dan for the advice.

It was a gateway to beard care products for me. About 3 years ago I started with the classic oil and beard balm. They changed my beard for the better is an understatement. Once I learned to control the beard I stopped trimming and currently it’s over 17 inches long and still growing. Even though I have many other beard care products on my shelf Honest Amish is still a go to brand for me. The smell of the classic reminds me of working on the farm. It’s a hay field kind of smell to me. It just feels and smells good. Nice review Dan.
I have honest Amish classic (didn’t know they had the other options Walmart only had classic). Any time I take a shower before bed, honest Amish goes in after. The classic scent is not great but it’s not terrible and it doesn’t last long at all. I put a butter in after and the scent of the butter covers it up anyway. I highly recommend using this company and now I need to look into the pure and premium. Great video dan 👊🏻

Loved them. The scent at first was a bit of a shocker... but now I actually like it a lot. Now I’m using their premium oil and HD balm. They make such quality products. You can get them in stores, you can get them on amazon, from their site etc... so easy to get your hands on some Honest Amish. Their price point is 🔥. You’re getting a high quality product, in a larger than average amount, for top notch stuff! At their prices... you’re getting their products at a STEAL. I make it a point to use some Premium Oil + HD Balm at night once a week. It’s too good not to use. The way it makes my beard feel immediately after use is amazing... but what’s even more amazing is how good my beard feels the next morning. Just can’t go wrong with any Honest Amish products. Yep. Love honest amish. I try lots of different kinds all the time but honest hamish is always my go to. No matter how many I try I still use honest amish regularly. It just feels the best in my beard. 👍beard on!

I’ve used honest Amish beard butter only.. every night and then brush with a boar hair bristle brush for 3 and it’s done a lot. But I found your channel and I can for sure get way more out of beard!!
I fell in love with HA. 1st oil in the game for me. I still use it at least 2x a week. Just pure, clean, light feeling in the beard. Truly makes my beard feel healthy!
My first beard oil was the unscented version from Honest Amish. I use it as my daily go-to. The reason I went with it in the first place is that the balms that I use for styling are typically heavily scented and I didn't want multiple scents clashing on my face. Thanks for the review. Honest Amish also got me into the oil game (cheap at Walmart). I moved onto other things, but I just recently bought a bottle and it's still probably the best quality oil I've used.
Honest Amish was the first beard product I bought in December 2016. I took a pretty long break from them but just started back up about 2 weeks ago. They truly are a good brand!

I so enjoy the feel in beard of the Premium. For like the first 30 minutes, I swear I get the scent of artificial worm lures. Almost like a rubber smell. Great revisit!
@@DanCBearded so I'm a few days in and for me it's joint favourite with Dr Nick's. This morning I did a pine tar soap, seven potions conditioner and honest Amish premium and my beard is sooo soft and great feeling! Love it! Can't wait to save up and get some more US brands over here!
This brand was my jumping off point too. I don't mind black liquorish or anise scents. In fact I love it. The fragrance brings me back to a memory of an elementary school field trip to the Brach’s candy factory in Chicago. The whole factory smelled of black liquorish. I was that kid growing up that liked black jelly beans and darker root beers. I still go back to Honest Amish a couple times a month. Balm and oil. Like it was pointed out in the interview it doesn’t have the greatest hold for curly wavy whiskers. Maybe I’ll try the premium oil and balm one day.

I tried the honest amish classic really early on in my beard journey, my wife and I both really enjoy the scent. I have been using this exclusively for about a year except I did get the beard guys which I used once and it will never touch my beard again. This week I started daily washing followed by only oil, my sides are long enough to lay down enough for me to be happy with no balm paste or clay, so far so good with that routine!
Great video, Dan! Glad you reviewed Honest Amish anew. It IS a great quality product. My first oils were of CREMO. I like CREMO beard shampoos. And I love their sandlewood comb. But, after CREMO's oils, I tried Honest Amish, fell in love with it, and I now I only use H. A. and so satisfied with their beard oil, I do not care to use any other brand. Maybe that's simplistic, but, that's my genuine thoughts on it. I only've used the original version of H.A. Maybe I'll look into the other scents sometime. But, whatever, to me, they're Número Uno in beard oil.

I always come back to the Premium. Tested and used a couple of handfulls of oils throughout, but for your bread and butter slash everyday beard care - this is numero uno for me. The scent is SAWDUST, ladies and gentlemen. Finally figured it out.
Honest Amish is one of the few companies that I am a frequent return buyer. They also have a Bayou blend that I have yet to try. Also, whenever I'm asked by new Beardsman what they should use, I always suggest they start with Honest Amish.

Dan - to me Honest Amish is like a classic black suit, it is timeless and it never goes out of style It's definitely a high quality product at a bargain basement price It was one of the first beard products I used, and I still use it to this day
I started with honest Amish and I have every product they make and is by far my favorite company !! I absolutely love the licorice sent !! I have ventured out and used grave before shave love their products and have had tried Texas beard company also have good products ! But for me I tend to stay with my first love like my wife met her at 10 years old started dating at 13 and still with her 34 years later !!
I smoke cigars so the wife and I love the bayou blend ! Grave before shave oil‘s aren’t that heavy but their balm’s are great ! Like : Bay Rum , Head Hunter , Cigar blend and aphrodisiac ! Good scent’s You should check him out Wayne Bailey .
I just had to purchase a hat to rock with my beard to support Honest Amish. But to get my shipping I added one of each of their lip balms. They are amazing as well. My next bottle of everyday oil will more than likely be the premium.
I took a 2 year break from HA because I got into trying everything new. I have been back to HA for about 3 months. I’m sticking with Honest Amish. I have the original, premium and the conditioning balm.
My first oil and care products were from dollar beard club. That didn't go well. Then I tried Honest Amish.got it at Walmart, the first reason why I got it.and loved it. Then you put up your review of whiskey and hard tack. I.I'm hooked on them now,from the shampoo and soap to the oil and balm,what a difference.

Really nice overview on their products. I happened to come across the Honest Amish Classic Beard OIl in Walmart one day. Used it consistently with my beard and have always loved it. Eliminated any skin irritation or itchiness. You really hit the everything that I could mention in this video. Personally, I have not tried the Premium Oil as far as styling/taming, but have used the Honest Amish Heavy Duty Beard Balm with good success. Based on your video, I think I will try the Premium OIl to see the difference... Thanks for the video, Andrew
Honest Amish classic was my first oil, I love the feel in skin and beard but as you mentioned it is not an everyday scent for me. Then I tried the Premium and wow. I have a decent 30+ beard oil collection (thanks to your reviews ;-) but I always say if I have to pick just one for a year it will be Honest Amish Premium 👍🏼
Since retiring, my nephew suggested Honest Amish to me for my new (6 months now) beard. I love this oil! I have started to dabble in other scents like you said, but, this is a morning favorite. The classic is what I use after the morning shower, especially if I have to go to work. Wearing a mask and smelling Honest Amish makes the morning and work day better. Now the misses doesn’t like it too much that is the biggest reason I am exploring other oils. God bless my man.
The premium was a game changer for me the ingredients in this oil are amazing.This oil keeps my beard moisturized the whole day and also made my beard thicker over time.Best oil in the game.
I have a question concerning the ingredients of this oil. I see it's first ingredient is pumpkin seed oil, which could mean the entire product could be up to more than 90% of pumpkin seed oil, a cheap ingredient. Do you know if it's true? Is it really worth all the money then?
I know this video is been around for a couple years but I am commenting anyway. Honest Amish was probably the first oil I tried. I’m talking about the classic here. I liked it right away but I went on to try others and came back to honest Amish. This has been my go to product for oil, balms, waxes and so on. It was just this week that I tried the premium and now I’m loving that. The scent that I pick up from the classic is a kind of autumn cinnamon and clove kind of scent. What I get from the premium is more of a woodsy scent that I love. It’s like strolling Out of the woods, woodshed or sawmill. It does seem to have more viscosity than the classic which again I like. I have not tried the unscented version.
Got me a bottle of Classic at Walmart today and I really like the scent. I really just got it to hold me until I get my order from Whiskey n Hardtack. Thanks for the great reviews and the DANC discount on my order!

I have the classic in oil & balm & I love how my beard stays soft through out the day, I just wish they would make like woodsy smell oils, they do deal with a lot of wood up in Amish town Pennsylvania. That would be a home run. Other than that, that’s like my hang around oil & balm. Ever since I took your advice of your video of adding a couple of drops of oil to the balm I appreciate it more. Still use premium oil in my product rotation and their balm is more like a butter very soft and does a great job in my beard..... good company great products
If I see Honest Amish I'll try it out for sure. I started off with Gibs oil and Woody's Beard oil. Expensive stuff but after doing my own research I put those products down I love the gimmicks and trinkets they give out. All their models have good beards but, their products have silicones that I can't even pronounce and I was a Bio major lol 😂Scuba put me on game with luxurious bastard which I fell in love with the smells and how passionate he was about his products and the kind of customer service he delivers he is by far the koolest dude I've bought from. He truly cares about his customers and I've dealt with other people who I will not name who are completely unprofessional and honestly I wouldn't recommend regardless of how good their products are or cheap at the end of the day I'm looking for quality all around. Honest Amish is the best product I’ve ever used! My beard responds amazingly well using their products. Finally it’s accessible in Australia 🇦🇺! The premium beard oil has Black seed oil which has many health benefits beyond beards. That smell is the black seed oil. Thank you for all that you do for the beard community mate!
I recently bought the Classic last Friday and I been using it Faithfully since then. I have others that I recently ordered from your reviews that are in the mail now, but will def keep this as a go too except for when I wanna feel special with the others. I watched this video today. I know it is a year old but as you were speaking I opened up my classic. And omg. This was also my first actual beard oil. Let me say that I was like a little kid in the candy store. I absolutely do not like black licorice. When I first opened it about 3 years ago, I thought I was going to hate this Scent. As soon as I put it in my beard, I immediately fell into a trance. This Scent is amazing. Just like then today was no different. I still love this scent. It's like running into an old high school buddy we pick up where we left off. Thank you Dan for all of your videos. You are quite instrumental with your fountain of knowledge in this game. Be well. Dan recommended Honest Amish to me about a month ago, I went to Walmart and they had the “classic”. I was unaware of their other two. I have been using it at least once a day, sometimes twice. I love the licorice scent.
The scent really only lasts a little while ( maybe a couple hours). before it’s evaporated. I wish it would last all day. It smells so nice.
It’s all I use and probably will ever use. Thanks Dan for the advice.

It was a gateway to beard care products for me. About 3 years ago I started with the classic oil and beard balm. They changed my beard for the better is an understatement. Once I learned to control the beard I stopped trimming and currently it’s over 17 inches long and still growing. Even though I have many other beard care products on my shelf Honest Amish is still a go to brand for me. The smell of the classic reminds me of working on the farm. It’s a hay field kind of smell to me. It just feels and smells good. Nice review Dan.

I have honest Amish classic (didn’t know they had the other options Walmart only had classic). Any time I take a shower before bed, honest Amish goes in after. The classic scent is not great but it’s not terrible and it doesn’t last long at all. I put a butter in after and the scent of the butter covers it up anyway. I highly recommend using this company and now I need to look into the pure and premium. Great video dan 👊🏻

Honest Amish is fantastic. Great company across the board. For me also it was one of the very first beard companies I tried. First I got their classic oil and beard balm. Loved them. The scent at first was a bit of a shocker... but now I actually like it a lot. Now I’m using their premium oil and HD balm. They make such quality products. You can get them in stores, you can get them on amazon, from their site etc... so easy to get your hands on some Honest Amish. Their price point is 🔥. You’re getting a high quality product, in a larger than average amount, for top notch stuff! At their prices... you’re getting their products at a STEAL. I make it a point to use some Premium Oil + HD Balm at night once a week. It’s too good not to use. The way it makes my beard feel immediately after use is amazing... but what’s even more amazing is how good my beard feels the next morning. Just can’t go wrong with any Honest Amish products. I also have the bar soap, and it’s one of my favorites.
A lot of people tend to stop using Honest Amish once they get fully immersed in the beard game world... and that’s a mistake! Honest Amish should stay in that rotation fellas! Especially the Premium Oil, HD Balm, and Body Bar!

I’ve used honest Amish beard butter only.. every night and then brush with a boar hair bristle brush for 3 and it’s done a lot. But I found your channel and I can for sure get way more out of beard!!

My first beard oil was the unscented version from Honest Amish. I use it as my daily go-to. The reason I went with it in the first place is that the balms that I use for styling are typically heavily scented and I didn't want multiple scents clashing on my face. Thanks for the review. I'll try the premium next time.
Honest Amish also got me into the oil game (cheap at Walmart). I moved onto other things, but I just recently bought a bottle and it's still probably the best quality oil I've used.

This brand was my jumping off point too. I don't mind black liquorish or anise scents. In fact I love it. The fragrance brings me back to a memory of an elementary school field trip to the Brach’s candy factory in Chicago. The whole factory smelled of black liquorish. I was that kid growing up that liked black jelly beans and darker root beers. I still go back to Honest Amish a couple times a month. Balm and oil. Like it was pointed out in the interview it doesn’t have the greatest hold for curly wavy whiskers. Maybe I’ll try the premium oil and balm one day.

Beginner here. Honest Amish is the first and only beard product that I’ve ever used. I have the original balm and the heavy duty balm. I like both, including the scent. I’m looking to get oil and wasn’t sure where to start, so this video was very helpful. Thanks!
I tried the honest amish classic really early on in my beard journey, my wife and I both really enjoy the scent. I have been using this exclusively for about a year except I did get the beard guys which I used once and it will never touch my beard again. This week I started daily washing followed by only oil, my sides are long enough to lay down enough for me to be happy with no balm paste or clay, so far so good with that routine!

Great video, Dan! Glad you reviewed Honest Amish anew. It IS a great quality product. My first oils were of CREMO. I like CREMO beard shampoos. And I love their sandlewood comb. But, after CREMO's oils, I tried Honest Amish, fell in love with it, and I now I only use H. A. and so satisfied with their beard oil, I do not care to use any other brand. Maybe that's simplistic, but, that's my genuine thoughts on it. I only've used the original version of H.A. Maybe I'll look into the other scents sometime. But, whatever, to me, they're Número Uno in beard oil.

I always come back to the Premium. Tested and used a couple of handfulls of oils throughout, but for your bread and butter slash everyday beard care - this is numero uno for me. The scent is SAWDUST, ladies and gentlemen. Finally figured it out.
Honest Amish is one of the few companies that I am a frequent return buyer. They also have a Bayou blend that I have yet to try. Also, whenever I'm asked by new Beardsman what they should use, I always suggest they start with Honest Amish.
I haven't tried the bayou blend yet either, it kind of scares me lol I am seriously hooked on the premium

I took a 2 year break from HA because I got into trying everything new. I have been back to HA for about 3 months. I’m sticking with Honest Amish. I have the original, premium and the conditioning balm.
They for sure stand the test of time. Just not the enjoyable scents side of the game

Then I tried Honest Amish.got it at Walmart, the first reason why I got it.and loved it.

Really nice overview on their products. I happened to come across the Honest Amish Classic Beard OIl in Walmart one day. Used it consistently with my beard and have always loved it. Eliminated any skin irritation or itchiness. You really hit the everything that I could mention in this video. Personally, I have not tried the Premium Oil as far as styling/taming, but have used the Honest Amish Heavy Duty Beard Balm with good success. Based on your video, I think I will try the Premium OIl to see the difference...

Honest Amish classic was my first oil, I love the feel in skin and beard but as you mentioned it is not an everyday scent for me. Then I tried the Premium and wow. I have a decent 30+ beard oil collection (thanks to your reviews ;-) but I always say if I have to pick just one for a year it will be Honest Amish Premium 👍🏼

Since retiring, my nephew suggested Honest Amish to me for my new (6 months now) beard. I love this oil! I have started to dabble in other scents like you said, but, this is a morning favorite. The classic is what I use after the morning shower, especially if I have to go to work. Wearing a mask and smelling Honest Amish makes the morning and work day better. Now the misses doesn’t like it too much that is the biggest reason I am exploring other oils. God bless my man.

I have a question concerning the ingredients of this oil. I see it's first ingredient is pumpkin seed oil, which could mean the entire product could be up to more than 90% of pumpkin seed oil, a cheap ingredient. Do you know if it's true? Is it really worth all the money then?
I know this video is been around for a couple years but I am commenting anyway. Honest Amish was probably the first oil I tried. I’m talking about the classic here. I liked it right away but I went on to try others and came back to honest Amish. This has been my go to product for oil, balms, waxes and so on. It was just this week that I tried the premium and now I’m loving that. The scent that I pick up from the classic is a kind of autumn cinnamon and clove kind of scent. What I get from the premium is more of a woodsy scent that I love. It’s like strolling Out of the woods, woodshed or sawmill. It does seem to have more viscosity than the classic which again I like. I have not tried the unscented version.

I’m new to the game, have grown a mustache on and off for years no beard due to being a firefighter. Wife isn’t a huge fan as it is rough, I tried Honest Amish as my first (beard/mustache) care routine and so far I’m loving it, and so is the wife!!

I picked up a bottle of honest amish classic beard oil from Walmart and I must say it's in my opinion the best quality oil for the price of it.

I have the classic in oil & balm & I love how my beard stays soft through out the day, I just wish they would make like woodsy smell oils, they do deal with a lot of wood up in Amish town Pennsylvania. That would be a home run. Other than that, that’s like my hang around oil & balm. Ever since I took your advice of your video of adding a couple of drops of oil to the balm I appreciate it more. It’s like butter on my beard! Thanks Dan for sharing!

If I see Honest Amish I'll try it out for sure. I started off with Gibs oil and Woody's Beard oil. Expensive stuff but after doing my own research I put those products down I love the gimmicks and trinkets they give out. All their models have good beards but, their products have silicones that I can't even pronounce and I was a Bio major lol 😂Scuba put me on game with luxurious bastard which I fell in love with the smells and how passionate he was about his products and the kind of customer service he delivers he is by far the koolest dude I've bought from. He truly cares about his customers and I've dealt with other people who I will not name who are completely unprofessional and honestly I wouldn't recommend regardless of how good their products are or cheap at the end of the day I'm looking for quality all around. My beard responds amazingly well using their products. Finally it’s accessible in Australia 🇦🇺! The premium beard oil has Black seed oil which has many health benefits beyond beards. That smell is the black seed oil.
