Yeah it’s completely unfair. Zeus is literally the most busted god to use against any Norse. It’s also the fact that Norse has too many fundamental weaknesses. This makes using Norse a lot harder in general because you essentially have to play almost perfect or else you lose.

Norse has way more fundamental weaknesses compared to Greek. Weaker buildings, building TC requires your infantry, weaker soldiers in classic, and etc.That’s why even when the Norse player is ahead for most of the game, he can still lose with just 1 mistake.

Yeah, people talking about Greek X Norse. Maybe it's fair to complain, but this game has a lot of "weird" decisions by Kimo. Agressive map, late advance, 0 raids and FH with terrible Frost against a quick 2 TC. How he expected not to get behind? Sorry norse players, but playing "this bad" will never beat Athena anyway.

It is a random competition, there's a small code to determine the maps and the gods randomly before the match begins.
Each player is also given one veto vote per bo5s as far as I know, to prevent unfair matchup/map combinations.
