My husband and I have been married 10 years now. We split up 3 times early on. You never know the damage someone is packing, and you definitely don't understand how love moves mountains unless you've been really loved by someone. It really depends on the issues, traumas, and personalities but damn I got lucky, BLESSED, to have such a beautiful marriage and relationship in life today. Both people have to be committed in elevating each other to higher levels of thinking. Remember, in a relationship you are not adversaries, you are advocates. Be your partner's advocate, not adversary.
Can I just say that I can relate! My partner and I have been together 9 years in November. The first four years were a bit rocky and like your relationship, early on we split 3 times as well. it does depend on the issues, traumas or whatever obstacles are attached to a specific relarionship, to know whether to fight or leave. I too am blessed to have this relationship in my life. We are not married but I don’t believe you have to be married in order to have commitment. Our commitment is being shown every day! Damn, this shit hit hard. I just broke up with my ex who i dated for 6 months, loved her to death. She simply tried to convince me to leave with her as she’s transferring to another college because the one she’s currently in doesn’t feel as accomplishing so she says. It’s also the fact that everyone knows that the college she’s transferring to is known as a party school and she wants more fun during her youth. She’s 19 and i’m 25 with a bachelors degree and a secure job in engineering. I felt like i had it all, but then she asked me to go with her 5 hours away to that school. Like, how tf would that even work, when bills gotta be paid & i’m currently the only breadwinner. So we weren’t on the same page and both of us lost interest, especially me. I started to sometimes ignore her calls when i’d hang with the boys & tbh that was asshole of me. But she wasn’t perfect either, i used to happily cook everything when she stayed with me in my apartment, breakfast lunch and dinner no problem..But then when she switched to a new apartment with roomates, i stayed with her since it was nicer.. and it rubbed me wrong when she would complain about me wanting to cook at her new place since she had roomates who were all used to doordashing and uber eating.. There would be mornings that i’d starve and ask if i could make an egg, and she’d just roll her eyes and say “fine i’ll do it”. I literally had to BEG this woman to make me anything and if it wasn’t for me being in her apartment i’d fucking cook my own food. I know this isn’t the 1920’s , but some reciprocated energy was lacking bad. Things went sour, i went to my parents to cool off (7hours away) and was just cold to her. I came back a week later and she said we’re just not in the same page & said maybe when she’s done with college we could be together unless she meets someone new over there. So fuck me right.
It only took 8 days apart and he came back and had long deep discussions to continue forward with our engagement. He told me how much he missed me and wanted me as his Queen. I’m still shocked bc I tried the most for months to convince him instead of leaving. After that separation he now sees me for what he truly wants forever. Inshallah. I knew he was my ordained husband. 😊🥰☺️

We remarried at the same time to the wrong ppl and had children with the . This just explains everything to me. My ex moved 500 miles away. I visited once. Said he had a really good time and would see me soon. That was 13 months ago. I completely stopped communication but still randomly get texts, no calls. If you really love someone it can take years to get over them, but dont stop living for someone who isnt committed.

Damn, this shit hit hard. I just broke up with my ex who i dated for 6 months, loved her to death. She simply tried to convince me to leave with her as she’s transferring to another college because the one she’s currently in doesn’t feel as accomplishing so she says. It’s also the fact that everyone knows that the college she’s transferring to is known as a party school and she wants more fun during her youth. She’s 19 and i’m 25 with a bachelors degree and a secure job in engineering. I felt like i had it all, but then she asked me to go with her 5 hours away to that school. Like, how tf would that even work, when bills gotta be paid & i’m currently the only breadwinner. So we weren’t on the same page and both of us lost interest, especially me. I started to sometimes ignore her calls when i’d hang with the boys & tbh that was asshole of me. But she wasn’t perfect either, i used to happily cook everything when she stayed with me in my apartment, breakfast lunch and dinner no problem..But then when she switched to a new apartment with roomates, i stayed with her since it was nicer.. and it rubbed me wrong when she would complain about me wanting to cook at her new place since she had roomates who were all used to doordashing and uber eating.. There would be mornings that i’d starve and ask if i could make an egg, and she’d just roll her eyes and say “fine i’ll do it”. I literally had to BEG this woman to make me anything and if it wasn’t for me being in her apartment i’d fucking cook my own food. I know this isn’t the 1920’s , but some reciprocated energy was lacking bad. Things went sour, i went to my parents to cool off (7hours away) and was just cold to her. I came back a week later and she said we’re just not in the same page & said maybe when she’s done with college we could be together unless she meets someone new over there. So fuck me right.

When your ex comes back this will be because of a physical change in appearance, gain in money or assets, or you are happy with someone and this hurts their ego.
When it comes to superficial charm the only reason the person comes back its to see if they can use you one more time.
Remember they are an ex. Because they are past their expiration date.
We have reconciled a year of separation but the last 3 months we were amicable communicated better than ever when we weren’t together we started to get to know each other again. Then I told him this is what I’m doing your either flowing with me on to the destination I feel we need to be or just go. We did our own soul searching and I prayed a lot to God I’m at peace so we’re starting again we want to be get married and have children so we pray that all will happen for us.
There was indefinite or anything we just went and did our own thing.
