This video is awesome and went straight to my favourites list. The scenery and picture quality are stunning. You did a very good job with the editing and the effects and the music is just perfect. I simply love this one!!! :)
I love videos like this. Even though I live in Arlington, I've driven on the highways you featured in your video. It's nice to sit back and watch because I can't really check it all out while driving. Great video and AWESOME music to go with it. Today is the first time I saw your UA-cam channel. Gonna check out the other videos you've made. Again, great job! 😀😀😀
Thank you very much for the kind comment Richard! I am glad you enjoy my work! I have been quite busy these pasts months, but I am not giving up. There are still more videos to come :)
Dallas BOA is actually 921ft and 939ft from sunken base :P ...but otherwise this video was spectacular! Thanks for a great vid of my city. In a year all those cranes you see will be complete to reveal more tower surprises.:))
Thanks for the additional informations ! That video was a Coproduction with InterstateJD who lives in TX. But as a Roadgeek, you can be sure that Texas is on my bucket list of places to visit ! ... it is just very far away from Québec City unfortunately !
@@ryleyoconnor8010 I know. This is sad, he used to be one of my favourite road videographer. I will personally never delete my channel as long as UA-cam exists even if I am not making videos anymore...
Thank you Dee! The footage was provided from a TX friend and I made a video out of it :) I wish I could visit TX in person one day cause it looks amazing.
Oh absolutely...its an amazing piece of infrastructure! I had the chance to drive it back in 2019 and Texas freeways is something you never forget as a Canadian!
Impressive no ? I don't know how they make it, but it's possible ! But They don't have winters there. In Québec there is 6 months where you can't rly go as fast as you want and time is money !.Also, One need to remember that the total price of the Turcot is also including the rebuilding of many roads and Autoroutes for many km on every directions including several other smaller interchanges.
Great city! The one problem with Dallas and many other large cities in the US is the lac k of transit, particularly subway systems. That throws a lot of cars onto the highways.
I absolutely agree. I do enjoy good road infrastructures, but I also believe there is point where you can't simply add lanes and built freeways forever. The main problem is their sprawled suburbs are so much built up, that even if you make a good transit system it is not going to be efficient because the density of population is very low. Good transit systems works wonder in very dense areas. It's a big problem to switch minds and the general culture in a place like Houston or Dallas.
Thanks ! I'd say Dallas, Austin is overrated imo. Dallas is much more developed as a city with better freeways, a good airport and real transit. Austin has better nature and scenery though Both are good for jobs afaik.
FF is correct. Austin has better natural scenery (Dallas is not completely flat and has hills... especially on the SW side) but its infrastructure hasn't been able to keep up with the influx of people. Some say Austin traffic is worse than Dallas because if this. Dallas rail and transit is way better and should be even getting a subway soon! Also if you're a hard core lefty then Austin is your town. Dallas is more open to all political affiliations and doesn't seem to care.
Houston is the 4th largest city in the United States where Dallas is the 9th. But the DFW Area is the forth Largest Metroplex in the country but Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar land is the fifth largest
Yes and no. The city of Houston is 2,296,224 residents. The city of Dallas is 1,300,092 residents. Why? Land annexation. Houston's city limits contain 667 sqmi. Dallas' city limits contain 385 sqmi. However, DFW is nearly 800,000 residents larger than the Houston metro. Houston's metro contains 6,313,158 residents. DFW contains 7,102,796 residents.
Absolutely stunning! A lot of work, again, on the road signs! Going to my favorites!
Merci Astey, c'était un réel plaisir à faire.... moi qui suis un fan de longue date des routes du Texas, c'était une chance unique !
As a Dallas Native myself I like how you went into the history of the city. Not bad, you know a lot about texas
Many thanks to Wikipedia on that ;) ... but also my partner for this project. !

Awesome video guys. Those Dallas freeways make Anthony Henday Drive in Edmonton look like a pleasant country lane lol.
LOL practically. Thanks for watching and commenting !
6:27 One of my two grandmothers was born in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and her middle name is Pearl.
Used to live right off the Henderson exit at 5.30. Loved my time in Dallas, highly recommend it!
I take you moved to another city now? Thanks for watching !
Very impressive freeway system and from what I saw, I think it is safe to say that Dallas is in no recession.
Yeah things seems to go quite well there ! ...The population's growth say it all.
As always, great video... US-75 used to go all the way to Manitoba and connect with PTH-75.
Thanks. Didnt knew it :)
sweet! I like the new fly-in and out effects.
Yeah thanks. I think it's sweet that way :)

3:41: Only $261 million? That is quite a bargain compared to the Turcot project in Montreal.
