That's why we are all here
YEEE BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
That's some Hollywood BS
So lemme get this straight.. To ensure the Martian's survival, they relocated to a different galaxy when the planet right next to theirs was habitable?
I'm pretty sure Earth was not largely habitable at the time, as the Earth we know today is different than what it is millions of years ago, which is probably why the Martians' didn't consider relocating to Earth, and only sent their basic lifeform in the form of microscopic bacteria in the slim hopes that it would thrive and develop.
It might not have been at the time. I assume it would have been far too oxygen rich at that time to support them.
He's right, if they had tech to traverse the galaxy for a new home, earth would of been terraform, actually the entire solar system would of been terraform. Or at least in the process with some base all over several planets to extract resources
@@TimeManInJail , wouldn't that be marsformed?
Yeah really dumb when you think about it XD they had tech to fill terraform the planet and create humans 😂
The "where are youu" got me rolling on the floor
I loved this movie (still do) when it came out. Was sad it didn't do well, as I would have loved a sequel to see what Jim finds.
Same. One of my top 10 movies
He became a guardian
@@Human.33 😆🙏
It's because the effects and plot is pretty bad even for a 2000 movie. It's still pretty good and I love Gary Sinise, but you gotta admit it's hilariously bad in some scenes and scientifically inaccurate in many
@@moddable6921 I know why it didn't do well, not going to disagree with the facts ...lol Just thought it was A really good idea that could have been done better and could have been overlooked with a better sequel exploring the ending premise is all.
This channel has always been the best. We love to see them succeed.
He makes you want to own a copy of a very good movie
Who are "WE"? That sounds like a member of sect would say.
That blink-182 reference caught me off guard 🤠🤠🤠
PSA - If you ever find yourself on a (supposedly) uninhabited planet.... the noises that you hear are.... NEVER just interference on your equipment. Seriously. Never.
Guys, guys. This dude is clearly a highly experienced NASA astronaut
Nigga talking like he's visited multiple planets
This movie actually seems pretty cool. It’s better than most movies.
i could tell the alien sapien was homo though his smile alone was so fruity. i just want one movie with straight sapiens, for real.
@@BoopSnoot I don’t get it. That’s not what I was saying at all.
@@baloo_2228 I'm just sayin the presenter kept goin on about the homo sapiens.
Honestly the plot seems pretty sick but I think I'd find it difficult to sit through the weird looking CGI
It is, you should watch it.
0:59 I love how Mars' ancient inhabitants spoke perfect American English 😂
If you wanna call that English lol
fun fact: Thanos speak english
The entire universe speaks early 21st century american english, because the us is the greatest nation in the universe.
@@wakkawagga443 your country is dead
Doesn't everyone?
Lieutenant Dan truly went onto greater things
The "Where are yoeww" got me
🤣
This movie has always been one of my favorite. For a Sci-fi it was just a few decades ahead of its time. This topic is more popular now than it was in 2000.
This is one of the few movies a watched when I was a kid and seem to try to remember or recall when I turned into an adult. This channel helped me recall this movie. thank you
Martian: " welcome, Earthing to our new planet"
Human: Hello Everyone
Martian: " what was your past life "
Human: " my wife died, i am not stable since then"
Martian: " Call HR"
I was so into it but "WhErE ArE YoU?? " Took me 🤣
I remember watching this movie as a kid, up until I am still a fan of it. But apparently it did not performed well in the box office and a lot of people didn't like it.
Sci fi movies are very popular now.
what is it called?
@@pencilshavings_yt its in the video bruh
@@feqoljust say it
I loved it…
9:13 prior to their depa-😂
This is actually a very plausible theory regarding the UAPs throughout the history.
i would love to discover the galaxy too if i had a chance
Now that's how you jump a Sunday off flying to Mars cheers everyone 🍻
My God how I love this channel... From that beautiful voice to the jokes, from the tone to the man himself, this person literally gave sense to any type of movies. Glad you exist cutie mochi !~
Thanks pudding!
The ‘unusual sound’…..😂😂😂😂😂 was not expecting that. 👍🤭
Is it a coincidence that both UA-cam channels the recap Mania and mystery recapped are both doing recaps on movies about Mars at the same time?
Most likely owned by the same shadow company
This see likely based on the fact that Mars had water and land in the past and with the Earth and it's pollution, we might have to move there
There’s scientists that believe mars used to have life. Mars had water and an ozone layer that protects from solar radiation. Fascinating stuff.
@@angelgjr1999 Exactly
@dat guy aids
Don’t believe everything you read. Why go to another planet when we can move underground and let the surface rejuvenate. Leaving this planet will be the death of our race
I spit my coffee out everywhere when he said Tom Delong was here 😂🤝
It’s so cool we solved that gravity inside a spaceship problem.
Yeah, by spinning the craft.
@@ChrundleTGreat ROFLMFAO
@@tonyarichards5430??? that is literally how it’s done. and with advanced tech, proper counterweighting and spinning of different prts of the ship could definitely make certain parts normal gravity while the ship as a whole operates normally
@@tonyarichards5430 A rotating wheel space station can be configured to simulate the gravitational acceleration of Earth (9.81 m/s²), allowing for human long stays in space without the drawbacks of microgravity. This type of station rotates about its axis, creating an environment of artificial gravity.
@@tonyarichards5430??
Omg I lost it with that “where are you” 😂 simple comedy man it’s the best
Im having a really bad day. Thank you for putting in that edit just for minute 1. made me laugh and not die lol
These summations have saved me immense amounts of time.
I love this recap video
This is a stellar cast and I'm wondering how I've not seen this...
Just because the cast is good doesn’t mean the movie is. There are a lot of good actors, but the movie is utter dog shit. Horrible graphics, awful story line, piss poor execution.
keep up the good work

I love this movie
"sounds like this: WHERE ARE YOU" was awsome dude
I honestly loved this movie. First saw it when I was ten.
This was a good movie. Worth a watch.
I would love for this movie to get 4K release. One of my favorites.
this man has a superpower, he just told a moevie thats like maby 1 hour long in ten mins .
i found the alternative ending so much funnier xD
but i loved the film
The soundtrack imo surpasses the film itself. Ennio Morricone never disappoints but he truly gave it his all in this one, with a slew of memorable themes and emotional melodies that resurface this "retro space" nostalgia from the 60s and 70s.
Amazing motion pictures scores
The narrator👌👌👌. Love this page
"Where are you?"
Bruh. I was not expecting that. It's one of the things that make this channel special.
I remember when this movie came out about 20 years ago or so and they did a huge premiere on tv with Disney because I guess they had a ride there or something anyways I thought this movie was fantastic great actors and great story.
whats it called?
Mission to Mars@@pencilshavings_yt

I saw this movie back in 2009. It was interesting to watch.
39 is the perfect song for this movie
Hi mystery recap great movie to watch it would be nice if they did a sequel to this David 🚀👌🇬🇧❤️👍
Alot of these movies have interesting plot points. If you think about it all these idea’s are really interesting it just depends on how its built into a movie.
Is that tom delong "Where are you"? LMFAO
always liked this movie and its ideas, recently moonfall has similar ideas and was decent watch.
After few years, Jim come back to earth in new form as CSI
Life coming from outerspace, would explain strange rock formatiims, that were found on Earth.

I watched this movie years ago.. thank you for reminding me of this movie that sucks so much that I’ll never watch it again.
Good movie
I'm just happy that after missing out on Apollo 13 Gary Sinise was finally able to fly in space.
Aliens: "Ah, the meal has arrived."
“Where are you” 😂😂😂😂
9:10 i love stuff like that lmao
Martians gave Earth a pearl necklace. 😂
Him:Yes am I the only one with narcotics?. Yes His friend:(Sh*t😐)
Poor Lt Dan. Couldn't go to space on Apollo 13 then gets denied to to go Mars at first.
