Thanks! The rigs are a 1990 HDJ81 VX Limited and a 1991 LJ78 Prado. The HDJ81 has triple lockers, factory winch, aftermarket fuel pin and a custom front mount intercooler. At 18psi it really scoots! The LJ78 has an OME 2" lift and is running a VW ALH TDI engine in place of the original Toyota diesel. Mods include a VNT17 turbo at 22psi, a Stage 4 tune and an R452 transmission gearing conversion. Driven carefully it will get 25+mpg on the highway and 23mpg around town. This trip was in the Tobacco Root Mountains in Montana.
Thanks! It has a VW TDI engine in place of the original Toyota 2L-TE diesel so it sounds a little different than most of them. A 2.5" straight pipe exhaust helps too!
