Also, don't get any wrong idea about Silco and Powder, he's only a father figure to her. She's just completely wrecked by abandonment issues so she behaves like a little girl with her "dad". It makes sense.
I think it's intended that people suspect and are uncomfortable with their dynamic at first. It's definitely not the healthiest father/daughter relationship, despite being the best available to jinx under the circumstances.
@@blacklightro S2 SPOILERS: I mean the quality clearly dropped, they didn't even really have any animation in the fight scenes just slowmotion tiktok clips and the story was rushed cause they want to build their MCU version which also wasn't good. They also fucked up Warwick completely by making him nothing more than Viktors puppet and they couldn't decide on making anyone an actual Villain so they made Viktor change his mind through Jayce again. But hey if you think this was Peak you probably think Justice League was Peak too and liking something is subjective so you do you.
I think they wanted the audience to originally get hard infer groomery intentions with the initial portrayal of the jinx/silco relationship. One of season one's greatest strengths was the gradual evolution of Silco fro a 2d cartoony bad guy to the amazing nuanced character he develops into. This show does subversion of expectations masterfully
As it shown, Jinx is pretty unstable and that is why she acts younger then she is. She and Silco have a Father-Daughter bond, but it comes across as somewhat weird because Jinx is very physical in regards to showing affection.
i think you should bring a note and type anything you have in mind in the moment, i would like to hear a longer review at the end, because this show is deeper than we thought after watching the season (2) finale
That scene about silco and jinx it wasnt that kind of weird, jinx has a childlike emotional state and behavior plus her abandonment issues is why shes clingy to his father figure silco. But shes way too clingy tho so yeah i understand the ick
I love the "DUN" sound effects you add in hahahah it adds so much comedic relief.

21:50 I love the detail that Councilor Hoskel is still trying to work out a puzzle made for children seven years after Mel gave it to him.
I am SO EXCITED FOR YOU! You are going to have so much fun with this show.
Jinx and silco relationship is strictly father-daughter which is why he was protective of her when sevika was complaining
If the first season is fire. Then the second season is an inferno.
Agreed.
you mean that in a good way? cause the second season was kinda ass compared to the first
@@MagiaBased Obviously, in a good way. And nah, the second season was peak.
@@MagiaBased rushed...definitely. Ass......HELL NAH!

forreal. One of the main plotpoints in s2, I realised on rewatch they were already showing in s1 e8.
I like your analysis on Mel's character
Hey when you get finished reacting to season 1 you gotta check out DPS Jinx rap it's one his best songs in my opinion.
Bet I’ll try to remember 😭
Bro they have a daughter-father bond, it’s just seems weird because of jinx and the way she showing her affection
Can't blame him for thinking that way at first tho
@ nah no blaming. I had the same reaction, just saying so bro not getting confused
nice

Bruh nah I ain’t making nothing that crap just made me uncomfortable 🤣😭
It's not steampunk, it's art-deco with a french touch.
